Abstract The way to the cis-anti-cis tricyclo [5.3.0.0 2,6 ] decane skeleton which represents an important substructure of natural sesquiterpenes(bourbonenes) and natural diterpenes(spatanes) is described starting from functionalized bicyclo [3.2.0] heptanic derivatives.
Tetrahedron Letters | 1994
Michel Miesch; Alain Cotté; Michel Franck-Neumann
Abstract The total synthesis of (±) stoechospermol starting from 7-methylbicyclo [3.2.0] hept-2-en-6-one 2 is described.
Tetrahedron-asymmetry | 1993
Michel Franck-Neumann; Michel Miesch; Alain Cotté; Laurence Gross; Bernard Metz
Abstract The resolution of the cyclobutenic ester 1 using chiral lactols is described. After a stereospecific reaction sequence (cyclopropanation followed by an acidic solvolysis), the enantiomerically pure diquinanes 10 are obtained.
