Each time are evident advantages in adopting Information Technology and Communication (ICT) in organizations, but small businesses are not making an adoption commitment from these, due to factors such as deficiency of an organizational culture that includes their use and limited financial, human and technological resources in SMEs. Considering this requirement, this article attempts to identify the utility of ICT tools to support organizational processes and productive in the business environment for SMEs. As methodology presents a review and analysis of secondary sources of literature that allow the identification of existing evidence and current research gaps related to the theme.Among the results obtained is the functional classification of ICT, the factors influencing the adoption decision, the description of the stages of ICT implementation, and operational and strategic benefits provided by their use. It is concluded that the adoption of ICT by SMEs allows to optimize the allocation of organizational resources, competitive advantages, release resources oriented to operational tasks, promoting collaborative environments, conditions that allow respond more quickly to market dynamics and the environment.

Structural equation model for studying the mobile-learning acceptance

This paper presents a Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on the Theory of Planned Behavior for assessing the variables that influence the mobile learning acceptance. For this study has been considered a representative sample of 350 students from “Instituto Tecnologico Metropolitano” (ITM). The KMO (Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin) and Bartletts test of sphericity indicate that a factor analysis is adequate. All constructs are statistically significant; also the goodness of fit test indicates that the model fits the data very well. This paper presents a SEM model which identifies the influence of next constructs: the ease of use, perceived usefulness, instructor preparation, preparation of student, the attitudes and subjective norms regarding the acceptability of mobile technologies. Besides the construct that most influences the latent variable attitude is the perceived usefulness, while the construct that most influences the latent variable subjective norms is the preparation of students.

Attitudes Towards the Use of Social Media as a Tool for Marketing

Abstract The accelerated progress of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) has made that marketing strategies are strengthened through the construction, personalization and socialization of information, which is one of the main dynamic social media. The aim of this article is to identify the trends and evolution of attitudes towards the use of social media as a marketing tool. For this, a bibliometric analysis was developed, divided into two stages: obtaining information (database and search equation), and obtaining bibliometric indicators (quantity, quality and structure) between 2008 and 2016. Among the results it is observed that increasing topics are centered on: Consumer Attitude, Health, Advertizing, Communication y Consumer Behavior.
