Alexandre L'Erario; José Augusto Fabri; André Luis do Santos Domingues; Alessandro Silveira Duarte; Rodrigo Pal'cios; Marcelo Schneck de Paula Pessôa

This article presents a model of the distributed software envelopment environment. This work used the multiple case studies for create this model. The dynamics and the properties discussed in this work help as guide framework for the network managers. For the stakeholders who are in the strategy of the network, this mapping constitutes the understanding and positioning of the network as a whole and for the sites, represents the group of relationships among them.

Control version system process anxd software product line: Software residence experience

Alexandre L'Erario; José Augusto Fabri; José Antônio Gonçalves; Alessandro Silveira Duarte

This paper presents an experience in software residence about product line and version control process. Graduate students groups had a mission to develop and specify a process to solve a real problem. As a result of this experiment, the groups developed and specified the software process and we found that the software residence contributed to dissemination of knowledge among students.

This article aims to present a software artifact based on the idea of the article “The proposal for a Software Package Using Mind Maps”, to the concepts of Concept Maps. This artifact is called the Bull of Software and will show what are the features of a particular software, information related to the technology and procedures used in the installation. In the end, a comparison between the data found in proposed using Mind Maps with data from concept maps will be made.

This paper reports an experience on using the robot Lego Mindstorm NXT 2.0, model 8547, to support the teaching of Software Project Management. We conducted an experiment in which two teams developed a software project using the robot, while applying principles of project management. The experiment was divided into two parts. First, we verified the existence of related project management techniques. Second, we mapped the results obtained by the project in order to verify whether the project management had impacted on the results, as expected. We conclude that the Lego robot is a motivational factor for the students and can be adopted as a learning object in the teaching of Software Project Management.
