Abstract N-Substituted 2- and 4-pyridinethiones A react with sodium-N-chlorobenzenesulfonamides 1 to N-phenylsulfonyl-S-pyridylidenesulfimides B, N,N′-bis(phenylsulfonyl)-S-pyridiniosulfodiimidates C and N-pyridylidenebenzenesulfonamides D. The constitution of the new pyridiniosulfodiimidates C is proved by X-ray crystal structure of one compound C and by 1H-NMR-spectra of all 1-methylpyridinio-compounds C, which have a downfield shift for the N-methyl-δ-values. Formation, stabilities, IR-, 1H-NMR-spectra and bond systems of A-D are discussed. Abstract A one pot synthesis gives methyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrodinaphtho[1,2-b:2′,1′-d]thiophenes (7) from methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-1-ones (1) by bromination and sufurization. Tetrahydro compounds 7 have been dehydrogenated to corresponding dinaphtho[b,d]thiophenes 8. Proofs for the constitutions are nmr data of 7, 8 and the independent synthesis of one compound 8. A reaction mechanism with 1,4-dithiine intermediates is discussed. Eine Eintopfsynthese liefert Methyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrodinaphtho[1,2-b:2′,1′-d]thiophene (7) aus Methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-naphthalin-1-onen (1) durch Bromierung und Schwefelung. Tetrahydroverbindungen 7 werden zu entsprechenden Dinaphtho[b,d]thiophenen 8 dehydriert. Konstitutionsbeweise sind NMR-Daten von 7, 8 und die unabhangige Synthese einer Verbindung 8. Ein Reaktionsmechanismus mit 1,4-Dithiin-Intermediaten wird diskutiert.

Abstract N-(2-Pyridylthio)amides 7 and salts of them have been prepared from 2-thiopyridone (1) with sodium-N-chloro-or N′N-dichlorobenzenesulfonamides (3 or 4), N-chloro-or N,N-dichloro-o-nitrobenzamide (2e or 4e), N-chloro or N,N-dichloroethylurethane (2f or 4f). Reactions of different amides 7 and the 13C-and 15N-NMR-spectra of N-(2-pyridylthio)-p-toluenesulfonamide (7b) prove the constitutions. N-(2-Pyridylthio)amide 7 und deren Salze werden dargestellt aus 2-Thiopyridon (1) mit Natrium-N-chlor-oder N,N-Dichlorbenzolsulfonamiden (3 oder 4), N-Chlor-oder N,N-Dichlor-o-nitrobenzamid (2e oder 4e), N-Chlor-oder N,N-Dichlorethylurethan (2f oder 4f). Reaktionen verschiedener Amide 7 und die 13C-und 15N-NMR-Spektren des N-(2-Pyridylthio)-p-toluolsulfonamids (7b) beweisen die Konstitutionen.

Abstract Herrn Prof. Dr. M. Hanack zum 60. Geburtstag gewidmet Natrium-N-chlorbenzolsulfonamide (4) reagieren mil Diphenyl-, Bis(methylthio)- oder Bis(dimethylamino)-cyclopropenthion (1, 2 oder 3) zu N-Cyclopropenylidenbenzolsulfonamiden (8–10) und S-Cyclopro-penyliosulfodiimidaten (13), in Abbangigkeit von den Substituenten am Cyclopropen-Ring. Es werden erhalten 8 aus 1, 9 aus 2, 10 und 13 aus 3.-NMR-Daten beweisen den Doppelbindungscharakter der Kohlenstoff-Stickstoff-Bindungen der Aminocyclopropenylio-Verbindungen 13. Sodium-N-chlorobenzenesulfonamides (4) react with diphenyl-, bis(methylthio)- or bis(dimethylamino)-cyclopropenethione (1, 2 or 3) to give N-cyclopropenylidenebenzenesulfonamides (8–10) and S-Cy-clopropenyliosulfodiimidates (13), dependent on the substituents at the cyclopropene ring. One gets 8 from 1, 9 from 2, 10 and 13 from 3.—NMR data prove the double-bond character of the carbon-nitrogen bond of the aminocyclopropenylio compounds 13.

Abstract S-(2-Dihydropyridylidene)-N-(phenylsulfonyl)sulfimides 1 are oxidized forming N-phenylsulfonyl-S-(2-pyridinio)sulfoximidates 2 and further N-phenylsulfonyl-2-pyridiniumsulfonamidates 3. The oxidation of S-(4-dihydropyridylidene)-N-(phenylsulfonyl)sulfimides 5 leads directly to N-phenylsulfonyl-4-pyridiniumsulfonamidates 6. The constitution of the new substance classes 2, 3, 6 is proved by thermal decomposition to give N-(dihydropyridylidene)benzenesulfonamides 4 and 7, IR-, 1H- and 13C-NMR-data, x-ray-structure data of one S-(2-pyridinio)sulfoximidate 2 and one 2-pyridiniumsulfonamidate 3. S-(2-Dihydropyridyliden)-N-(phenylsulfonyl)sulfimide 1 werden zu N-Phenylsulfonyl-S-(2-pyridinio)sulfoximidaten 2 und weiter zu N-Phenylsulfonyl-2-pyridiniumsulfonamidaten 3 oxidiert. Die Oxidation von S-(4-Dihydropyridyliden)-N-(phenylsulfonyl)sulfimiden 5 fuhrt direkt zu N-Phenylsulfonyl-4-pyridiniumsulfonamidaten 6. Konstitutionsbeweise fur die neuen Verbindungsklassen 2, 3, 6 sind die thermische Entschwefel...

Abstract Starting with 5-bromoindan (1) the diindanothiophenes 7, 8 are synthesized via their sulfones 4, 5. NMR-data prove the constitutions. Ausgehend von 5-Bromindan (1) werden die Diindanothiophene 7, 8 uber ihre Sulfone 4, 5 synthetisiert. NMR-Daten beweisen die Konstitutionen.

Abstract 2- and 4-pyridinethiones (A) react with sodium N-chlorobenzenesulfonamides (1) in alcoholic solvents to N- (pyridy1thio)benzenesulfonamides (C), sodium N, N′-bis(phenylsulfonyl)-S-pyridylsulfodiimidates (D) and S-alkoxy-N-phenylsulfonyl-S-pyridylsulfimides (E). Constitution proofs for the new compounds D, E are reactions and 1H-, 13C-, 15N-nmr data. 2- und 4-Thiopyridone (A) reagieren mit Natrium-N-chlorbenzolsulfonamiden (1) in alkoholhaltigen Losungsmitteln zu N- (Pyridylthio)benzolsulfonamiden (C), Natrium-N, N′-bis(phenylsulfony1)-S-pyridylsulfodiimidaten (D) und S-Alkoxy-N-phenylsulfonyl-S-pyridylsulfimiden (E). Konstitutionsbeweise fur die neuen Verbindungen D, E sind Reaktionen sowie 1H-, 13C- und 15N-NMR-Daten.

Abstract Ring closure reactions at the 3,5-di(β-naphthyl)-2,4-thiophenedicarboxylic acid and its derivates lead to the b- and c-anellated cyclopentathiophene systems 2, 3a and 3c. The angular structure of the ring closure products is proved by 1H-NMR-studies; UV/Vis-spectroscopic studies discriminate between the sides of anellation on the thiophene.

Abstract From six possible ring closures with 3,5-di(α-naphthyl)-2,4-thiophenedicarboxylic acid and its derivates the ring closure to the phenaleno[b]thiophene system 2 is realized with methyl 2-chloroformyl-3,5-di(α-naphthyl)-4-thiophenecarboxylate (1c). 1H-NMR studies about the deshielding effect of the carbonyl group on the neighbour proton at the aromatic ring prove the structure. Von sechs moglichen Ringschlussen bei der 3,5-Di(α-naphthyl)-2,4-thiophendicarbonsaure und ihren Derivaten tritt der Ringschlus zum Phenaleno[b]thiophen-System 2 beim 2-Chlorformyl-3,5-di(α-naphthyl)-4-thiophencarbonsaure-methylester (1c) ein. 1H-NMR-Untersuchungen uber den entschirmenden Effekt der Carbonylgruppe auf das benachbarte Proton am aromatischen Ring beweisen die Struktur.
