Turismo y parques naturales en Andalucía tras veinte años desde su declaración. Análisis estadístico, tipología de parques y problemática de la situación actual

The article presents two main aims. On the one hand, to analyze by means of the objective and measurable existing indicators the evolution of the tourist activity in the andalusian nature parks from their declaration, now twenty years ago.On the other hand, to clarify from statistical information the features that characterize the tourist current situation of the above mentioned parks, showing their principal problems. For all this a classification by types of parks is made and the principle that the tourist utilization of the parks must be based, so much for reasons of sustainability as of competitiveness, in activities narrowly linked to the singularity of their natural capital is defended.

Energía eólica y territorio en Andalucía: diseño y aplicación de un modelo de potencialidad para la implantación de parques eólicos

This paper analyzes the potential of the land to set up wind farms in Andalusia (Southern Spain). A locational model using the analytical capabilities of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Multi-criteria Evaluation Techniques (EMC) has been built. This will be able to point out the areas with the greatest potential for wind power, as well as those in which it is inadvisable or even incompatible with other activities and land use. The results highlight the existence of several constraints in Andalusia to develop wind energy, but also and above all, they provide a useful tool to promote the wind energy industry in the region in an orderly fashion.

Gobernanza territorial y gestión de espacios turísticos en contextos de fuerte presión inmobiliaria: Análisis de buenas prácticas locales en la costa de Cádiz (España)

En la actualidad, el diagnostico de los problemas que el desmesurado crecimiento urbano ha significado para los espacios turisticos espanoles esta muy avanzado. Una linea novedosa de investigacion sera el analisis de los escasos ejemplos en los que, a diferencia de la tendencia general, desde las instancias locales se ha optado por un modelo de desarrollo turistico ajeno al mero crecimiento inmobiliario. Los casos de buenas practicas seleccionados en la Costa de Cadiz muestran que estos surgen vinculados a dinamicas de escala local, en las que la aplicacion de nuevos enfoques de gobernanza territorial ha jugado un papel esencial. A partir de esta constatacion se realiza una aproximacion al debate teorico sobre la gobernanza territorial, un analisis critico de los documentos de planificacion incidentes, una valoracion de los procesos de participacion desarrollados y, finalmente, a traves del tratamiento con SIG de ortofotografias de diferentes anos, una cuantificacion en terminos superficiales de la realidad territorial resultante en el ambito de estudio

La difícil convivencia entre paisaje urbano y turismo: clasificación de conflictos y propuestas de regulación a partir del análisis comparativo de normativas locales

This paper addresses the interrelationship between urban landscape and tourism activity, given the latter’s rapid increase in Spanish historic centres. The approach taken focuses on how local regulations deal with conflicts arising in that interrelationship. The main aims are: a) to identify conflicts stemming from the dialectic between tourism activity and urban landscape, and propose a classification of same; and b) to review regulations approved in that respect and based on them explore proposed type regulations on the question – in both cases with special attention to historic centres. The methodology used was comparative analysis of local regulations approved in Spanish 12 and foreign 3 cities of particular significance owing to the quality of their heritage and the level of tourism visits.
