A Proposed Model for E-government Maturity

Information technology affected on government and they are moving toward E-government. In many developed countries, E-government implementation is in final stages and many developing countries has just started e-government or stand on early stages. This paper will review e-government maturity models in order to compare and synthesize them. For this purpose, 9 e-government maturity models are investigated. So, the main e-government maturity stages are: online presence, interaction, transaction, transformation and digital democracy . After that, according to many references, the main technologies which are used in each stage are summarized.

Companies are attempting to find ways to improve their flexibility and responsiveness and in turn competitiveness by changing their operations strategy, methods and technologies that include the implementation of SCM paradigm and information technology (IT). However, our objective is to, with review of literature, specify the areas that IT affect on supply chain and develop a framework for impact of IT in SCM.

Clustering the Countries According to Relation Between E-Government and Transparency

This paper introduces e-government as a solution to reduce corruption in government activities. A description of corruption and its causes in many countries is presented. Correlation between e-government ranking and transparency ranking of 180 countries and also Islamic countries are measured. After that by using k-means clustering, all countries are allocated to clusters.

Assessing Intellectual Capital with Fuzzy Expert System

The problem of evaluation of knowledge management as it is a key source for competitive advantage in organizations, has attracted considerable attention. However, the available uncertainty in knowledge management bound us. It involves many factors and the traditional accounting methods are difficult to be used for this problem. Thus, in this paper, an expert system has been developed. Based on fuzzy evaluation procedure for the selected criteria, intellectual capitals have been evaluated for Iran telecommunication research center (ITRC) as a case study. Also, its outputs have been satisfied by the managers of ITRC.

An Ontology Based Model for Technology Foresight

Technology foresight is an emergent tool for technology policy making both at national and business levels. This research takes advantage of the knowledge representation technique known as ontology to categorize the things that are assumed to exist in a specific technology domain. Technology foresight model is developed in this paper without any detail about the embedded concepts. Each country can use this model for its technology development and policy making after local customizations.
