Productivity plays a significant role for most companies in order to measure the efficiency. In reality there is an essential need to evaluate the different factors which increasing productivity and achieving the high level of quality, high production rate , machine utilization. On the other hand, manufacturing companies are striving to sustain their competitiveness by improving productivity and quality of manufacturing industry. So it can be acquired by finding ways to deal with various industrial problems which have affected the productivity of manufacturing systems. This paper aims at applying statistical analysis and computer simulation to recognize and to weight the significance of different factors in the production line. Based on the final result the two factors which are B (Number of labor) and C (Failure time of lifter) have the most significant effect on the manufacturing system productivity. In order to achieve the maximum productivity the factors should be placed on the levels which are: A= -1, B=1, C=1 and D=1. This means that the service rate of mixer = UNIF (20, 40), number of labor=20, failure time of lifter =60 min and number of permil=5 respectively.

ABSTRACT Speed bumps as a traffic-calming technique can be a key issue in ensuring safe passage through secondary roads. Limited works in finding the best location of speed bumps prior to stop points has prompted this investigation. The objectives of this work are to explore the influence of factors in determining the bump location for obtaining the minimum speed at a stop point and to obtain a robust design by investigating the effect of environmental noise on the factors. The mathematical models effectively explain the performance indicators within the range of the factors, and the vehicle speed is the most significant factor.

Demand for air transportation has boomed extensively in Southeast (SE) Asia during the past decade as a result of economic development and the lack of land routes between destinations. The purpose of this study is to focus on the cost-leadership competitive strategy applied by low-cost carriers (LCCs) in SE Asia airlines and explore the elements that affect the competing capability of these airlines in the region. Furthermore, the study attempts to illustrate the key success factors that have resulted in the superiority of AirAsia (AA) airline among other LCCs airlines in the competitive market of SE Asia. The research shows that the regulatory environment in the regions air transportation business is an important barrier for the development of local LCCs airlines. Hence, AA attempts to cope with these barriers have been illustrated in this research.
