A representação social das adolescentes sobre a gravidez nesta etapa de vida

Este trabajo se ocupa de las representaciones de las adolescentes referentes al embarazo en esta etapa de la vida y objetiva aprehender el contenido/la estructura de las representaciones sociales referentes al embarazo en la adolescencia. La abordaje teorica fue cualitativa, teniendo como sujetos cuarenta adolescentes no embarazadas sexualmente activas y, como escenario, escuelas de Rio de Janeiro. Del perfil socio-economico-demografico de las adolescentes he realizado la tecnica expresiva y entrevista semi-estructurada. Los datos tratados conforme el analisis del contenido de Bardim, apuntan polos favorables y desfavorables de la representacion del objeto. Esto emergio como algo inadecuado, generador de responsabilidades y juicio moral. Es observada vinculacion directa entre tales representaciones y el nivel socio-economico: las mas favorecidas evidencian su caracter comprometedor de los planes futuros, ya el seguimiento opuesto resalta la coronacion de la identidad natural del femenino. Se concluye, destacando la necesidad de atentarnos acerca de la diversidad de los grupos, para propiciar mayor autonomia en la opcion del momento del embarazo.

Representações sociais da vida sexual de mulheres no climatério atendidas em serviços públicos de saúde

The present study aimed at studying the social representations of the sexual life of climacteric women. Its theoretical- methodological referential was based on the Theory of Social Representations. Study participants were 40 women between 45 and 65 years of age, who were divided into two groups: perimenopause and postmenopause. Scenarios were two public units of health services for women in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro. Data were collected through the semistructured interview technique and treated according to the analysis of thematic content. Results indicated three representation fields. Two fields emerged in the perimenopause group: continuity of sensuality and sexuality, and representation of the negativity in climacteric leading to a sexual life without pleasure. The postmenopause group was organized into one representational field: sexual life based on the aging process. The authors concluded that the representations regarding sexual life in climacteric are being redesigned by some women despite many conceptions that still persist in association with traditional socio-historical-cultural values regarding women and the aging process. El referencial teorico-metodologico se apoya en la Teoria de las Representaciones Sociales. Participaron 40 mujeres entre 45 a 65 anos, divididas en dos grupos: perimenopausia y postmenopausia. Los escenarios fueron dos unidades publicas de atencion a la mujer en el municipio del Rio de Janeiro. La tecnica de recoleccion de datos fue la entrevista semi-estructurada. Los datos fueron tratados segun el analisis de contenido tematico. Los resultados senalaron tres campos de representaciones. En el grupo de la perimenopausa emergieron dos campos: continuidad de la sensualidad y sexualidad y representacion de la negatividad del climaterio llevando a una vida sexual sin placer. El grupo de la postmenopausa se organizo en un campo representacional: vida sexual anclada en el proceso de envejecimiento. Se concluyo que las representaciones sobre la vida sexual en el climaterio vienen siendo redisenadas por algunas mujeres a pesar de que muchas concepciones persisten agregadas a los valores socio-historico-culturales tradicionales a lo femenino y al envejecimiento.

Educação em saúde no ciclo gravídico-puerperal: sentidos atribuídos por puérperas

Descriptive study, qualitative, that aimed to capture the content of social representations of puerperal women on health education in pregnancy and postpartum in primary health care. Users were 31 Family Health Centers in Fortaleza, Ceará, over 18 years in the postpartum period, with at least six visits to prenatal and one postpartum consultation. It was held a lexical analysis of data from semi-structured interviews with the software ALCESTE. The representations of puerperal women on health education are linked to institutional educational practices, with emphasis on lectures, family and school education, and community education. It predominate the traditional pedagogy, with the transmission of information, punctual and widespread. It is necessary to change the pedagogical logic, expanding educational groups with knowledge sharing.Estudo descritivo, qualitativo, que objetivou apreender os conteudos das representacoes sociais de puerperas sobre a educacao em saude no ciclo gravidico-puerperal na atencao basica de saude. Participaram 31 usuarias de Centros de Saude da Familia de Fortaleza, Ceara, maiores de 18 anos, no puerperio, com no minimo seis consultas de pre-natal e uma consulta puerperal. Realizou-se analise lexical dos dados das entrevistas semiestruturadas, atraves do software ALCESTE. As representacoes das puerperas sobre a educacao em saude estao ligadas as praticas educativas institucionais, com destaque para as palestras, educacao familiar e escolar, educacao comunitaria. Predomina a pedagogia tradicional, com transmissao de informacoes, pontuais e generalizadas. Faz-se necessario mudar a logica pedagogica, expandindo-se as estrategias em grupos educativos com construcao e compartilhamento de saberes.

Human error in daily intensive nursing care

Objetivos: identificar os erros no cotidiano da assistencia de enfermagem em terapia intensiva e analisa-los de acordo com a teoria do erro humano. Metodo: estudo qualitativo, descritivo e exploratorio, cujo cenario foi o Centro de Terapia Intensiva de um hospital da Rede Brasileira de Hospitais Sentinela. Participaram 36 profissionais da equipe de enfermagem. Os dados foram coletados atraves de entrevista semiestruturada, observacao e analise lexical atraves do programa ALCESTE(r). Resultados: o erro humano na assistencia de enfermagem pode ser relacionado a abordagem do sistema, atraves das falhas ativas e condicoes latentes. As falhas ativas sao representadas pelos erros na administracao de medicamentos e nao elevacao das grades dos leitos. As condicoes latentes podem relacionar-se as dificuldades na comunicacao entre a equipe multiprofissional, falta de normas e rotinas institucionais e ausencia de recursos materiais. Conclusao: os erros identificados interferem na assistencia de enfermagem e recuperacao da clientela, podendo causar danos. Entretanto, sao tratados como ocorrencias comuns e inerentes ao cotidiano. Enfatiza-se a necessidade de reconhecimento destas ocorrencias, estimulando a cultura de seguranca na instituicao.

Marcas em si: vivenciando a dor do (auto) preconceito

Investigacion cualitativa cuyo objetivo fue comprehender las representaciones sociales del cuerpo por mujeres con alteraciones provocadas por la lepra, para que la atencion de enfermeria pueda atender de manera mas amplia a sus necesidades. El referencial fue el de la teoria de las representaciones sociales. Participaron cuarenta y tres mujeres de una unidad de referencia especializada en dermatologia sanitaria. Se realizaron entrevistas, cuyos contenidos se han procesado por el software ALCESTE, lo cual genero una clase cuyos vocablos se asociaron al prejuicio anclado en la autopercepcion negativa de la lepra. El esquema explicativo de las representaciones sociales mostro una fuerte marca de la memoria social de la lepra, cuya construccion simbolica se ampara en el miedo de la enfermedad. Se concluye sobre la necesidad de se desconstruir las creencias arcaicas sobre la lepra a fin de que se tengan nuevas maneras de actuar frente a esta enfermedad.Qualitative research whose objective was to understand the social representations of the body by women with alterations caused by leprosy, for nursing care can meet more broadly to your needs. Isolamento de mulheres em situação de violência pelo parceiro íntimo: uma condição em redes sociais

Introducao: O isolamento e uma forma de violencia em que o parceiro intimo busca enfraquecer a rede de apoio da mulher, afastando-a do convivio social, proibindo-a de relacionar-se com familiares e amigos. Objetivo: Analisar o isolamento social de mulheres em situacao de violencia pelo parceiro intimo. Metodos: Pesquisa qualitativa, analitica, realizada no Centro Especializado de Atendimento a Mulher do Rio de Janeiro - Brasil, com 20 mulheres. Utilizou-se entrevista individual e analise de conteudo. Resultados: Nos discursos, o isolamento social ocorreu pela restricao da liberdade pelo parceiro, provocando atitudes repressivas ao negar as mulheres o convivio social. Conclusao: Diante do isolamento, as mulheres mostraram dificuldades em expressar suas necessidades, procuraram as Unidades de Saude apresentando sintomas consequentes da violencia vivenciada. Raramente revelavam o problema, cabendo aos profissionais a pratica e habilidade para escuta atentiva e olhar holistico identificando a situacao, possibilitando a ajuda necessaria e apoio as suas redes sociais.Introduction: Isolation is a form of violence in which the intimate partner seeks to weaken the womans support network, distancing her from social interaction, prohibiting her to relate to family and friends. Objective: To analyze the social isolation of women in situation of violence by their intimate partner. Methods: Qualitative and analytical research held at the Specialized Center for Assistance to Women in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, with twenty women. Individual interviews and content analysis were used. Results: Social isolation occurred due to the restriction of freedom by the partner. Conclusion: Women showed difficulty to express their needs, sought the Health Units presenting symptoms consequent to the experienced violence. They rarely revealed their problem, leaving to professionals the practice and ability to an attentive listening and a holistic look to identify the situation, providing the necessary help and support to their social networks.

Violence against women and its consequences

Objective: To analyze the consequences of intimate partner violence, from the perspective of women, as an intervention proposal for nurses in health care. Methods: Qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research. Theoretical framework supported by Levine’s Nursing Theory. Sixteen women who had experienced intimate partner violence participated in the study. The Collective Subject Discourse was used for the analysis. Results: The consequences of violence against women were sleep disorders, improper diet, lack of energy, body aches, bruises, abrasions, panic attacks, sadness, loneliness and low self-esteem, constituting psychoemotional and physical harm. Conclusion: Assaults upon the integrity of women were evidenced, based on Levine’s conservational principles, in terms of conservation of energy and conservation of structural, personal and social integrity, where the intervention of the nurse is essential for support, promotion and rehabilitation of women’s health.
