Business Model for e-Funding in Creative Industries

The main issue for a startup to initiate a project or business is the initial funding using online system. E-funding has become as an alternative funding source for startups. This study is prepared to create a business model of e-funding marketplace or platform to cater startup funding needs, especially startups from the creative industries. The business plan was prepared in detailed by employing several strategic analysis, such as Industry Analysis, Threat, Opportunity, Weakness and Strength analysis, business model canvas; marketing strategies such as segmentation, targeting and positioning and marketing mix; and financial analysis. The result shows positive net present value, short-term payback period and higher return on investment compare to interest rate. This business is feasible to be run.

Information Technology Risk Management Using Frap (A Case of Insurance Company)

The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of information technology and the risks of what might happen. Research methods used include literature studies, field studies by conducting observations, interview and study documentation. The approach used to conduct risk management of information technology is a method of Facilitated Risk Analysis Process (FRAP). The results are the discovery of the risks of using information technology. The conclusions of this study demonstrate the application of information technology is good enough because it takes only a little improvement in information technology risk management.

Monitoring Information System Quality: Between Reality and User Expectation at Bina Nusantara University

The objective of this research is to determine the user’s satisfaction towards Monitoring Information System Quality and to see user’s satisfaction level from two dimension, system quality and information quality. Research methods used are data collection method using questionnaire, data processing method using statistical tools such as pearson product moment correlation coefficient and cronbach’s alpha, and data analysis method using gap analysis and Cartesians diagram. The expected result is user’s expectation is greater than user’s real experience; therefore, system quality and information quality have to be improved. Result shows that user is dissatisfied with applied monitoring information system right now.

Information Technology Risk Measurement Using NIST (Case Study at Pt. Pintraco)

The purpose of this study is to measure how big the risk level associated existing information technology at PT. Phintraco and how to minimize the risk of information technology. The research methodology used involves library research, documentation studies and interviews, collected data were analyzed using the NIST method. Results from this study indicate there are 13 types of risks that might occur, one of them at high risk (Malicious code) and there are two risks with a medium risk level (Information theft, server hangs). The conclusion was that risk controls has been applied quite good but still there are some weaknesses in it, among others: the password is not changed periodically, there is no documentation about the system, the right of access to the IT division is too free, antivirus programs inadequate.
