The objective of novel e-learning strategies is to educate the learner during his actual work process. We focus on this new approach of in-place and in-time e-learning, which offers learning resources right in time the user is in need for it. A crucial factor for those modern task-oriented e-learning software is the users context. To deliver learning resources to the user, which are both suitable and helpful with regards to the users current work situation and his competencies, the application always has to consider the learners actual work task, his environment, and history. In this paper, we present an architecture for the work task prediction, evaluate different machine learning algorithms in depth by their accuracy for that purpose and discuss the integration in our e-learning environment. This validates the possible usage in real-world business scenarios.

This paper is a thought experiment in finding struc tures for the elicitation of requirements on top of struc tures for retrieving requirements. We transfer from structures used by the German sociologist Niklas Luhmann, who applied a wooden slip box to collect notes on processed literature. Each slip contains bib liographic information and Luhmanns thoughts to the referenced content. In this paper we propose to use Luhmanns slip box approach for requirements engi neering, by enhancing it to a multi user suited to sort requirements in a requirements repository.

The paper presents the MILL --- a system which supports planning of training measures. Its background technique, task-competency modeling, is based on formal concept analysis as an indirect and qualitative way of determining the abilities of learners. In that context, the fulfillment or failure of a work task is the indicator of a set of necessary competencies. The core of the presented approach is a matrix structure --- a formal context --- which has tasks as labels for its rows and competencies labeling its columns. This matrix is the basis for defining formal concepts which can be ordered in a lattice for navigation and systematic decision support on training measures in an organisation.
