In many spheres of human activities devices that work on increased frequency current are widely applied. 50 Hz current can be converted into increased frequency (100-400 Hz) current using synchronous reactive converters, which are based on exude and usage of higher harmonics. The goal of this paper is to determine which circumstances must be taken into account to ensure highest increased frequency EMF induction in a secondary winding. To solve this problem the optimization of rotor geometrical shape must be applied. As a result rotor’s optimal shape which ensures highest EMF induction is obtained.

To solve partial derivative equations for vector magnetic potential by method of mathematical simulating finite element method is used. Designed, theoretically based, and described method which allows from stationary magnetic field simulation results to achieve vector potential as the spatial coordinates functions so obtaining the flux leakage with the armature winding as a function of time. Calculations are made for a particular synchronous machine and from simulation results the synchronous inductive reactance values are obtained.

Basic Statements of Research and Magnetic Field of Axial Excitation Inductor Generator In this work the main features of axial excitation inductor generators are described. Mathematical simulation of a magnetic field is realized by using the finite element method. The objective of this work is to elucidate how single elements shape, geometric dimensions and magnetic saturation of magnetic system affect the main characteristics of the field (magnetic induction, magnetic flux linkage). The main directions of a magnetic system optimization are specified.

Determination and analysis of synchronous motors parameters In this work the parameters of synchronous machines are analyzed- direct-axis reaction Xad and quadrature-axis reaction Xaq. Methods of calculation in view of magnetic systems and its elements saturation are presented. It is shown that definition of these reactances, using as a basis a two-reaction method, is not correct and connected with work demanding chart analyzing calculations. The new approach to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of synchronous machines operating modes which is based on consecutive use of the magnetic fields theory is offered, without it with two-reaction parameters Xad and Xaq. This approach is realized by means of a magnetic fields modeling using numerical methods with help of modern computers.
