It is a crying shame to learn that schools have allowed rostered placements to occur over the holiday season (News November 3). It certainly appears that such schools neither care about students nor are bothered about the issue. It certainly gives lie to the idea that nursing students are full-time students. The latter do not work on holidays as such unless by choice.
