Tardigrada fauna of Estonia has never been studied until now. Two species of Eutardigrada: Eremobiotus alicatai (Binda, 1969) and Isohypsibius marcellinoi Binda & Pilato, 1971, were found in one moss sample collected in Rakvere. They are the first records of Tardigrada in Estonia. Iki siol lėtūnų (Tardigrada) fauna Estijoje nebuvo tyrinėta. Dvi Eutardigrada rūsys: Eremobiotus alicatai (Binda, 1969) ir Isohypsibius marcellinoi Binda & Pilato, 1971, aptiktos viename samanų pavyzdyje, paimtame Rakvere. Abstract. Survey and collecting of the Iranian tydeoid mite fauna over the last 40 years, including the present data, have resulted in a collective list of 43 species of Triophtydeidae, Iolinidae and Tydeidae, covering 12 of the 30 provinces. During 2008–2010, a faunistic survey of tydeoid mites was made in Razavi Khorasan Province of Iran. As a result, four tydeoid species were stated as new for fauna of the study area and one species (Tydeus calabrus) — new for the Iranian fauna. Three other ones (of the genera Neopronematus and Tydeus) are new to science. The new taxa are described and a key to the species of Neopronematus is proposed. A checklist of Iranian tydeoids is provided.

Abstract Paurotyndareus Darbemamieh & Kazmierski n. gen. (Acari: Iolinidae: Tydaeolinae) is described and illustrated. The new genus can be separated from Tyndareus and near genera by reduced chaetotaxy of legs and genital region. This genus is characterized by double tip eupathidium at the end of palp, femur I with five setae, genu III with one seta, three pairs of genital and two pairs of aggenital setae. Paurotyndareus persicus Darbemamieh and Kaźmierski n. sp. collected from soil in Kermanshah, Iran is described as the type-species.

Also, the following species were collected and identified from Kermanshah province, Iran: Neopronematus rapidus (Kuznetzov, 1972), Neopronematus solani Łaniecka and Kaźmierski, 2013; Neopronematus sepasgosariani Sadeghi, Łaniecka and Kaźmierski, 2012; Neopronematus lundqvisti Sadeghi, Łaniecka and Kaźmierski, 2012; and Neopronematus neglectus (Kuznetzov, 1972). Some information about the genus, morphologically close species, remarks and a key to Neopronematus species of the world are given as well.
