Natural Language Processing in Educational Computer Science

This is a presentation of the historical development of human-computer interfaces in educational computer science, which makes it necessary for Natural Language Processing to understand and interpret the learner”s interventions. It is also an analysis of Lexical Databases and their application in education.

Microprocessor-based learning systems

Abstract The first systems has carried out intrinsic programmed instruction by means of computers used only a little part of the computer facilities. Therefore, a later working line was to build special purpose systems consisting of a special electronic unit for controlling a display device or an item selector. Presently another valid way to do this is to substitute the computer of the primitive programs, or the special unit of move modern systems by a microprocessor. In this paper the corporate this idea are show the architecture and organisation of two microcomputer head systems, one of items that an item flin, and the other one that manage a microfilm header.
