This research paper is about integrating heterogeneous web applications using web services. A SOAP web service is being used to integrate applications like ASP.NET, Java and database. As usage of internet is expanding and the concept of web service is gaining publicity so there is a growing market demand for more cost effective and efficient heterogeneous enterprise applications. Web services opens new market to software vendors and these software vendors have an edge over other software vendors using old/traditional models. Even expensive software can be shared by many software applications as a service and hence making it more economical for customers to use it. This paper discusses about the design and implementation of database and then integration of ASP.NET application with database. Later on a SOAP web service is exposed which communicate with database and will then expose three methods to the java application. This java application is made using Servlet and JSP. The SOAP web service can now be used by any other application as per the need in future.

K Maps are generally and ideally , thought to be simplest form for obtaining solution of Boolean equations.Cubical Representation of Boolean equations is an alternate pick to incur a solution, otherwise to be meted out with Truth Tables, Boolean Laws and different traits of Karnaugh Maps. Largest possible k- cubes that exist for a given function are equivalent to its prime implicants. A technique of minimization of Logic functions is tried to be achieved through cubical methods. The main purpose is to make aware and utilise the advantages of cubical techniques in minimization of Logic functions. All this is done with an aim to achieve minimal cost solution.

Implementation of Boolean function through multiplexer can be done by various multiplexers depending upon the select lines. Implementation of Boolean functions can be done by various methods, but in this particular paper stress is more on multiplexers. Through Shannon expansion theorem,it is easy for us to implement the Boolean functions in a simpler way. Upto three variables, can be handled by multiplexers, and above that we have taken aid of look out table, and how it uses multiplexers in their operations.

As the market is changing with high speed so the need is also changing. As the technologies like Http, SOAP, UDDI etc came into existence and also www (World Wide Web) gained publicity, so the need for applications over internet emerges. And SOA and web services provide a solution to this problem. They help us in making interoperable software systems for both small businesses or for huge enterprise applications. This design framework (SOA) will also increase reusability, granularity, interoperability and modularity of software applications over internet. This paper discuses the integration of different applications that will use these technologies in real world. It will explore different ways to interact between heterogeneous applications made in different languages like ASP.NET, Java, Silverlight and also with the database MS SQL Server 2000. We will also discuss about XML (EXTENSIBLE MARKUP LANGUAGE) which is Language for communication between different web services and XSLT (Extensible Style sheet Language Transformations) in next paper.

As most digital system cannot subtract, they can only add, so we needed a method of compliments to subtract. The knowledge of Compliments ,r’s and (r-1)’s in number systems, their representation, limits, is essential for understanding of computers and successful programming for digital devices In this paper we discussed r’s and (r-1)’s compliments subtraction through Traditional number system and Strange number system, their properties and subtraction in the light of different prospective. Traditional number system – binary, octal, decimal and hexadecimal, in regular use and Strange number system, with an extra edge of memorized information with greater density, zero redundancy problem, avoiding sign problem and reducing complexity of interconnections, - unodecimal, duodecimal, tridecimal, quadrodecimal, pentadecimal, heptadecimal, octodecimal, nona decimal, vigesimal and further are discussed through

Series which can be quite enigmatic and mesmerizing is dealt with a different prospective in this paper. Power summation of a series will be encountered in a different light with a touch of computer. A computer program is made and discussed through series power summation.

Many researchers have implemented string matching algorithms in various fields for instance finding the secret key RSA or other encryption methods as well as finding intruders pattern in Intrusion Detection System, DNA matching, Carbon Chain matching. This paper aims to analyze and obtain an algorithm for discrete pattern matching. It also works for any type of string whether it be characters, decimal values or special symbols.
