[ARTIGO RETRATADO] Uma revisão sobre a pesquisa em pediatria recentemente publicada em revistas indexadas brasileiras

ABSTRACT This review surveys articles appertaining to the general field of pediatrics that have been published in Brazilian scientific periodicals over recent years. Its main purpose was to bring to the attention of the read -ership of the Sao Paulo Medical Journal original contributions from specialty and non-specialty journals. We hope that this can be seen as a general scientific update for the readers. We have covered articles ap-pearing in Brazilian ISI-indexed journals, following a PubMed search. RESUMO Esta revisao cobre artigos pertencentes ao campo geral de pediatria publicados em revistas cientificas brasileiras nos ultimos anos. Seu principal objetivo e chamar a atencao dos leitores de Sao Paulo Medical Journal para contribuicoes originais de revistas especializadas e nao especializadas. Oferecemos esta co-letânea como uma atualizacao cientifica em geral para os leitores. Foram cobertos artigos publicados em revistas brasileiras indexadas no ISI, apos uma busca PubMed. I MD, PhD. [ARTIGO RETRATADO] Exercício e suas interações com vários aspectos da vida do homem e dos animais

Resumen pt: Revisar os artigos publicados recentemente na imprensa cientifica brasileira sobre o tema geral de exercicio fisico. Todos os artigos publicados em 2010/...To review recently published papers in the Brazilian Scientific press on the general subject of physical exercise. All articles published in 2010/2011 found through the keyword exercise were collected from 11 Brazilian Journals. They were hand filtered to exclude all but original research papers. They were grouped according to subject categories and subcategories. A brief summary of all included articles was produced, comparing similar articles between them. The most commonly found interactions refer to exercise vs. the cardiovascular system, metabolism and the locomotor system, in this order. The volume of scientific research in the field is high and of sufficient quality to justify highlighting.
