Vijay Chauhan; Arunima Jaiswal; Junaid Khalid Khan

This article gives an overview of the currently available literature on web page ranking algorithm using machine learning. Web page ranking algorithm, a well-known approach to rank the web pages available on cyber world. It helps us to know - how the search engine exactly works and how a machine learn itself while giving priority to the page that which page is important to successfully fulfills the user query need and which page is worth less. Machine learning approach also helps us in understanding the complex part of page priority criteria in most popular search engines like Google, yahoo, AltaVista, dog pile and many more search engines like that. Page ranking mainly unrevealed the structure of web. This article gives an overview of available literature in the field of web page ranking algorithm and it also highlights the main point based on machine leaning approach in web page ranking algorithm.

Emphasis on testing assimilation using cloud computing for improvised agile SCRUM framework

Gaurav Raj; Komal Yadav; Arunima Jaiswal

In todays era service development demand increasing day by day and clients ever changing requirements which made agile methodology to come in existence due to faster production, flexible, improved quality and moreover it can accommodate changes, faster feedbacks and transparent communication. But now Due to geographical distribution of team members and client, leading IT thinkers thought to strengthen the agile methodology by giving users access an environment that has wide-spread access i.e CLOUD. This combination of agile and cloud provide a positive impact to IT companies. But for achieving Quality, we need to test all functionality so in our work we emphasis on testing assimilation using cloud services in agile environment. Cloud team members can perform testing easily using Test-as-a-Service without increasing the cost of the project and get the results faster. We can also use agile management tools to reduce the problem of communication and for all the updates in the product backlog as well as Sprint backlog list.

Creating ontology for intelligent web by using web usage mining

Pooja Jha; Arunima Jaiswal

Today, Web could be a stupendous info that involves multitudinous destinations, Internet crawlers and different information owning to the unregulated and disorganized info within the Web site pages, its a testing enterprise for scientists to form an applicable and productive inquiry in distribution center of such style of info. Ontology could also be an honest part for accomplishing this objective and Web usage mining strategy could likewise be utilized to get and separate significant data from the Web records. During this paper, contributing of Web use mining has been made with the assistance of an instance of check information that Weblog instrument gadget, “Web Log Expert” has been utilized and its been associated with the progression of mysticism for gainful Web and its reference to Web use mining. Finally, it additionally helps in summarizing another analysis challenges towards an intelligent Web.

Empirical analysis of data acquisition techniques: PAPI vs. CAPI

Mantek Singh Bhatia; Arunima Jaiswal

Data acquisition refers to the act of collecting data on a large scale. This paper presents a qualitative and quantitative analysis of two data acquisition techniques, namely, Pen and Paper Interviewing (PAPI) and Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI). It cites two case studies to clearly define the difference between the two techniques. They have been compared on four factors, namely, cost, time consumed during the whole process, productivity of each interviewer and quality assessment of each techniques (average number of errors occurred per interview). It emphasizes on providing absolute numbers to clearly show the difference between the two techniques.

Security Testing of Web Applications: Issues and Challenges

Arunima Jaiswal; Gaurav Raj; Dheerendra Singh

Due to the increasing complexity of web systems, security testing has become indispensable and critical activity of web application development life cycle. Security testing aims to maintain the confidentiality of the data, to check against any information leakage and to maintain the functionality as intended. It checks whether the security requirements are fulfilled by the web applications when they are subjected to malicious input data. Due to the rising explosion in the security vulnerabilities, there occurs a need to understand its unique challenges and issues which will eventually serve as a useful input for the security testing tool developers and test managers for their relative projects.
