Abstract Lifetimes of positive-parity states in 71,73 As produced by the reactions 56,58 Fe( 18 O,p2n) 71,73 As have been measured by the Doppler recoil-distance method. The ratios of the measured reduced transition rates to the corresponding ones in the core nuclei 70,72 Ge can be explained by assuming that the coupling of a proton in the 1 2 [440] state increases the deformation of the core.

Levels in105Ag were populated by the103Rh(α, 2nγ) reaction,γ-singles spectra,γγ-coincidences, excitation functions, angular distributions and polarisation measurements were taken. These measurements were used to construct a level-scheme and give various spin and parity assignments.Nuclear Reactions:103Rh(α, 2nγ)105Ag; measuredEγ, Iγ, γγ-coincidences, excitation functions, angular distributions, polarisation.

The72Ge(α, n)75Se and73Ge(α, 2n)75Se reactions have been studied at bombarding energies of 15 MeV and 22.5 MeV respectively using Ge(Li)-detectors.γ-singles spectra,γ-γ-coincidences,γ-angular distributions and excitation functions have been taken. A level scheme has been constructed, which contains a stretched spin and a normal rotational band.Nuclear reactions72Ge(α, n)75Se,73Ge(α, 2n)75Se; measuredEγ,Iγ,γ-γ-coincidences,γ-angular distribution,γ-excitation function.75Se deduced levels,J, π, γ-multipolarity. AbstractThe decay scheme of112Cd has been studied by γ-ray spectroscopy with the110Pd(α, 2nγ) reaction. Spin and parity assignments were made on the basis of coincidence measurements, angular distributions and excitation functions. Twelve new energy levels were established. A vibrational-like positive-parity band up to spin 8+ and a negativeparity side band 5−, (7−), (9−) were found. For the negative-parity states a (vj, vh11/2) configuration is suggested. Nuclear Reactions:110Pd(α,2nγ),Eα=15–22.5 MeV; measuredEγ,Eγ, (E,Eγ),Eγ (θ),γ-γ- coincidence;112Cd deduced levels,J; enriched target.

Abstract77Se has been investigated by the reaction74Ge(α,nγ) at 14 MeV. Gamma singles spectra, gamma angular distributions and gamma-gamma coincidences have been taken. A level scheme has been established, spins and parities have been assigned. States of a rotational band on the 1/2− ground state, a rotational band on the 5/2− 249.7 keV state and an anormal band have been identified. Nuclear Reaction74Ge(α,n γ)Eα=14 MeV; measuredEγ,Iγ,γ-γ-Coin.,γ-ang. distr.77Se deduced levels,J, π. Enriched target, Ge (Li).

Using the (α, 2nγ) reaction we have established a partial decay scheme of73As. A positive parity band built on the 428 keV 9/2+ level is interpreted as a decoupled band.

Abstract73Se has been investigated by the reaction70Ge(α, nγ). Gamma excitation functions (Eα=10–16 MeV), gamma angular distributions (Eα=18 MeV) and gamma-gamma coincidences (Eα=15 MeV)) have been taken. A level scheme has been established, spins and partities have been assigned. States of a rotational band on the 151.2 keV (5/2−) state and an anomalous band have been identified.Nuclear Reaction70Ge(α,nγ)Eα=15 and 18 MeV; measuredEγ,Iγ,γ-γ-coin.,γ-angular distribution,γ-excitation function.73Se deduced levels,J, π. Abstract The decay scheme of 52 Cr has been studied by γ-ray spectroscopy with the 50 Ti( α , 2n γ ) reaction. Spin and parity assignments were made on the basis of coincidence measurements, angular distributions, excitation functions and DSAM lifetime measurements. Six new high-energy levels with spins up to 9 were established.

The93Nb(α, 2nγ)95Tc reaction has been studied at a bombarding energy of 22.5 MeV using Ge(Li)-detectors. Gamma singles spectra, gamma-gamma coincidences, excitation functions and gamma angular distribution have been obtained. A level scheme has been constructed. Spin and parity assignments up to 29/2+ are given.
