SummaryThe problem of the bound states in the Heisenberg ferromagnet of spinS = 1/2 is considered using the exact boson representation. The results are identical with those obtained with the spin operators but the present approach does not suffer from the inconsistencies inherent to the spin-operator approach. Also it is shown that other existing boson representations (Marumori, Dyson) are inadequate for the treatment of the bound states of the Heisenberg ferromagnet with spinS = 1/2.RiassuntoUsando l’esatta rappresentazione dei bosoni, si studia il problema degli stati legati nel ferromagnete di Heisenberg di spinS = 1/2. I risultati sono identici a quelli ottenuti con gli operatori di spin ma il metodo d’approccio qui usato non risente delle incoerenze inerenti al metodo degli operatori di spin. Si dimostra anche che altre rappresentazioni esistenti di bosoni (Marumori, Dyson) sono inadeguate alla trattazione degli stati legati del ferromagnete di Heisenberg di spinS = 1/2.РеэюмеИспольэуя точное боэонное представление, рассматривается проблема свяэанных состояний в гейэенберговском ферромагнетике со спиномS=1/2. Реэультаты являются идентичными реэультатам, полученным с помошью операторов спина, но в настояшем подходе не сушествует противоречий, свойственных подхоху спиновых операторов. Также покаэывается, что другие сушествуюшие боэонные представления (Марумори, Дайсона) неадекватны для рассмотрения свяэанных состояний гайэенберговского ферромагнетика со спиномS=1/2.

On a possibility of metastable exciton-phonon hybridization

SummaryThe possibility of metastable hybridization of optical and mechanical excitons in the crystal is analysed. It is shown that the hybrid excitations can appear with a lifetime of the order of 10−14 s. The main consequences of the hybridization are the appearance of an additional peak of the absorption coefficient, lying in the infra-red region, as well as the induced transformations of the optical into the mechanical energy andvice versa.RiassuntoSi analizza la possibilità di ibridazione metastabile di eccitoni ottici e meccanici nel cristallo. Si mostra che le eccitazioni ibride possono apparire con una vita media dell’ordine di 10−4 s. Le principali conseguenze dell’ibridizzazione sono la comparsa di un ulteriore picco del coefficiente di assorbimento, che giace nella regione dell’infrarosso, come pure le trasformazioni indotte dell’energia ottica in meccanica eviceversa.РезюмеАнализируется возможность метастабильной гибридизации оптических и механических экситонов в кристалле. Показывается, что могут иметь место гибридные возбуждения с временем жизни порядка 10−14 с. Основные следствия гибридизации—это появление дополнительного пика в коэффициенте поглощения, лежащего в инфракрасной области, а также индуцированные превращения оптической энергии в механическую энергию и, наоборот.
