Komplexchemie reaktiver organischer verbindungen : IX. Einbau von methylen in mangan-komplexe

Wolfgang A. Herrmann; Barbara Reiter; Helmut Biersack

Cyclopentadienyl- and methylcyclopentadienyltetrahydrofuranedicarbonylmanganese behave with respect to diazomethane as carbene trapping reagents. The reactions carried out at low temperatures yield diamagnetic dimeric complexes of the type [RC5H4Mn(CO)2]2CH2 (R = H and CH3, respectively), which contain, as shown by their spectroscopic data, a CH2-bridging ligand as characteristic structural element. In addition to the μ-methylidene compounds the π-ethylene complexes RC5H4Mn(CO)2(C2H4) are formed.

Übergangsmetall—methylen-komplexe: XXIV. Carben-addition an eine co??co-bindung

Wolfgang A. Herrmann; John M. Huggins; Barbara Reiter; Christine Bauer

Zusammenfassung Carbene transfer from the diazoalkane precursors IIa–IIf to the formal metal—metal double bond of the dinuclear cobalt complex [(η5-C5Me5)Co-(ν-C0)]2 (I) (Me  CH3) occurs rapidly in the temperature range from -40 to +60°C to give the dimetallacyclopropane-type μ-methylene derivatives IIIb–IIIe, IVa, and Vf, respectively.

Verbesserte synthesen von phenyltrisilanen

Karl Hassler; Ulrike Katzenbeisser; Barbara Reiter

Improved syntheses for the trisilanes (PhH2Si)2SiHPh, (PhH2SiH2and (Ph2HSi)2SiPh2 are reported. The preparation of (Ph2HSi)22SiH2 and Ph2HSiSiH2SiH2Ph is described for the first time. When octaphenyltrisilane, 2-chloro-1,1,1,3,3,3- hexaphenyltrisilane or 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexaphenyltrisilane react with liquid hydrogen chloride or triflic acid (CF3SO3H), trisilanes (PhCl 2Si)2SiClPh, (PhCl2Si)2SiHCl, (Ph2TfSi)2SiPh2 (Tf = CF3SO3), (Ph2TfSiSiH2 and Ph2TfSiSiH2 SiPhTf2 are formed which are easily reduced to the title compounds using LiAlH4.

Thermische disproportionierung von (η5-C5H5)2V2(CO)5. Tetrakis[carbonyl(η5-cyclopentadienyl)vanadium], (η5-C5H5)4V4(CO)4

Wolfgang A. Herrmann; Johann Plank; Barbara Reiter

Abstract The novel vanadium cluster tetrakis[carbonyl(η 5 -cyclopentadienyl)- vanadium has been prepared in 32% yield by thermal disproportionation of μ-dicarbonyltricarbonylbis(η 5 -cyclopentadienylvanadium) (V-V) in boiling tetrahydrofuran.
