DISCOVERY AND IDENTIFICATION OF W′ BOSONS AT e+e- COLLIDERS

Stephen Godfrey; Pat Kalyniak; Basim Kamal; M. A. Doncheski; Arnd Leike

We report on studies of the sensitivity to extra gauge bosons of the reactions and eγ→νq+X to extract discovery limits for W′s. The discovery potential for a W′ is, for some models, comparable to that of the LHC. These processes may be also useful for determining W′ and Z′ couplings to fermions which would complement measurements made at the Large Hadron Collider.

Investigation of W′ bosons at high energy e+e− colliders

M. A. Doncheski; Stephen Godfrey; Pat Kalyniak; Basim Kamal; Arnd Leike

We investigate two processes, e+e−→ννγ and eγ→νq+X, for their sensitivity to the existence of extra gauge bosons. Exclusion limits for the mass of a W′ are given for various models. In certain cases, the limits are comparable to those of the Large Hadron Collider. We also investigate the potential for these processes to constrain W′ and Z′ couplings to fermions, which would complement measurements made at the LHC.

CONSTRAINTS ON EXTRA GAUGE BOSONS IN eγ COLLISIONS

Stephen Godfrey; Pat Kalyniak; Arnd Leike; Basim Kamal

We investigate the sensitivity of to extra charged gauge bosons. The sensitivity is much below that of . We conclude that and are also inferior to e+e- collisions in setting bounds on extra charged and neutral gauge bosons and on four fermion contact interactions.

Searching for a W′at the Next-Linear-Collider using single photons

Stephen Godfrey; Pat Kalyniak; Basim Kamal; Arnd Leike

We examine the sensitivity of the process e+e−→νν+γ to additional W-like bosons which arise in various models. The process is found to be sensitive to W′ masses up to several TeV.
