Abstract Thirty-six patients having carcinoma of the bladder have been controlled between periods of one and twenty years by the cystoscopic application of radon. Twenty-seven were treated by cystoscopic application alone and seven were recurrences of the carcinoma after the suprapubic application of radon and two were secondary to cervical carcinoma. We have controlled 27 papillary and 7 infiltrating carcinomas. There is no mortality to the procedure and if these seeds are properly placed there is no danger of penetrating the bladder with the radonb-earing needle.
