Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is an important prerequisite for understanding the lunar surface. However, making accurate DEM is a very challenging task due to (a) lack of support of projection parameters in COTS packages (eg. PCI Geomatica), which are to be used in generation of Lunar DEM and (b) unavailability of Ground Control Points (GCPs). In the present study, DEM generation of lunar surface was attempted without GCPs using Rational Function (RF) model from Chandrayaan-1 TMC triplet images. In the study, a good correlation (of almost same order) is observed between Nadir-Fore (NF), Nadir - Aft (NA), Fore - Aft (FA) and Fore - Nadir - Aft (FNA) image pairs. The results suggest that DEM for lunar surface can be created without GCPs using RF model.

Despite various regulations formulated by different government time to time, practice of allopathic medicine by unqualified persons in India is very rampant. Quackery in India is widely practiced social evil which significantly adds morbidity and mortality. The case report is of a male aged about 40yrs brought dead in central emergency of RIMS, Ranchi, with history of headache which had been tried to be treated with aspirin by a quack. The post-mortem finding showed the presence of thin layer of subdural haemorrhage over the surface of right side of cerebrum with multiple minor haemorrhagic spots in substance of brain and in apex of cerebellum. Initially at autopsy intra-cranial hemorrhage due to blunt trauma was suspected but detailed history was correlated with hypertensive hemorrhage complicated by aspirin administration. The case report highlights the complication of quackery and also the importance of proper history taking before autopsy.
