Simulation Study of Spectrum Sharing between Microwave Links and Personal Communications Systems

The U.S. telecommunications industry has projected a need for 200-800MHz of new spectrum in order to be able to provide for the highly desirable new radio communications services, as well as to accommodate the growth needs of existing services. Since all existing practical spectrum is already allocated, the FCC must either re-allocate spectrum or determine that existing spectrum can be shared by new services without inter-service interference.
