C-silylation de cétones a partir de chlorotrialkylsilanes et de magnésium

Abstract The trimethylchlorosilane/magnesium/hexamethylphosphorictriamidesystem reacts with arylaliphatic ketones suffering steric hindrance to yield the corresponding C -substituted silicon alcoxysilanes, which after hydrolysis, lead to C -substituted silicon homologs of tertiary alcohols. Furthermore, under certain conditions phenyl-tert-butylketone can give para -substituted alcoxysilane which upon hydrolysis yields the para -silyl-substituted secondary alcohol.

Abstract The trimethylchlorosilane/magnesium/hexamethylphosphotriamide system reacts with benzonitrile and yields an amine both α-silyl and para -silyl substituted. With aromatic imines one gets amines either α-silyl or para -silyl substituted according to steric hindrance at the functional carbon atom.

Regioselective Synthesis of 2,2-Dimethylcyclopentanone Using 2-Pyrrolidone Magnesium Salt as Electrogenerated Base.

Abstract An efficient, direct and regioselective preparation of 2,2-dimethylcyclopentanone, via its enolate precursor regioselectively obtained using the 2-pyrrolidone magnesium salt, a base electrogenerated in DME/HMPA, is reported.

Abstract The synthesis of 1-methoxy-3,6-bis (trimethylsilyl) cyclohexa-1,4-diene, a ketoprofen precursor has been achieved from anisole by an electrochemical way using an undivided cell fitted with a sacrificial aluminium anode and a stainless steel cathode, with or without solvent, under constant current density.
