Fabrication of dye Rhoeospathacea with concentration variation in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC)

Sri Sumardiasih; Agus Supriyanto; C Cari

Dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) is a device that directly converts visible light into electrical energy. In this work we used dye was extracted from Rhoeo spathacea. A natural dye was directly mixed with TiO 2 anatase to obtain dyed titanium dioxide which can be used as photoanode for DSSC by varying the volume of dye. The first variation is 2 ml dye mixed with 1 ml of TiO 2 , and the second variation is 3 ml dye mixed with 1 ml of TiO 2 . The absorbance spectra of the dye and dye titanium dioxide have been investigated by spectroscopy UV- Visible Lambda 25 and the conversion efficiency of dye titanium dioxide used Keithley 2602A meter. The DSSC based on dye titanium dioxide with varying volume of dye showed that the efficiency of the the second variation is 0,033% which is higher than the first variation (0,023%) as obtained from I-V characterization.

Solution of Five-dimensional Schrodinger equation for Kratzer’s potential and trigonometric tangent squared potential with asymptotic iteration method (AIM)

Agung Budi Prakoso; A Suparmi; C Cari

Non-relativistic bound-energy of diatomic molecules determined by non-central potentials in five dimensional solution using AIM. Potential in five dimensional space consist of Kratzer’s potential for radial part and Tangent squared potential for angular part. By varying n r , n 1 , n 2 , n 3 , dan n 4 quantum number on CO, NO, dan I 2 diatomic molecules affect bounding energy values. It knows from its numerical data.

The Determination of the Spectrum Energy on the model of DNA-protein interactions using WKB approximation method

Edy Syahroni; A Suparmi; C Cari

The spectrum energys equation for Killingback potential on the model of DNA and protein interactions was obtained using WKB approximation method. The Killingbeck potential was substituted into the general equation of WKB approximation method to determine the energy. The general equation required the value of critical turning point to complete the form equation. In this research, the general form of Killingbeck potential was causing the equation of critical turning point turn into cube equation. In this case we take the value of critical turning point only with the real value. In mathematical condition, it was satisfied with requirement Discriminant was less than or equal to 0. If D=0, it would give two values of critical turning point and if D<0, it would give three values of critical turning point. In this research we present both of those requirements to complete the general Equation of Energy.

Schrödinger equation solution for q-deformed Scarf II potential plus Pöschl-Teller potential and trigonometric Scarf potential

Fery Widiyanto; A Suparmi; C Cari; Fuad Anwar; Mohtar Yunianto

The Schrodinger equation for q-deformed Scarf II potential plus Poschl-Teller potential and trigonometric Scarf potential was solved using Asymptotic Iteration Method (AIM). The combination of three potentials was substituted into the Schrodinger equation, then we separated the three-dimensional Schrodinger equation into three one-dimensional differential equation, consist of the radial part, polar part and azimuth part. The radial, polar and azimuth part differential equations were solved by reducing them into the hypergeometric intermediaries equation, to further we resolved it using AIM. By using AIM, the energy equation and the variable separation constant equations, λ1 for the polar part and λ2 for the azimuth part were obtained, where both are interrelated between the quantum numbers. The value of energies were calculated numerically using Matlab software, where the increasing in the radial quantum number nr causes increase and decrease in the energy. Radial, polar and azimuth wave functions were defined as hypergeometric functions and were visualized using Matlab software. The results show that the disturbance of Poschl-Teller potential and trigonometric Scarf potential give effect in probability
