Jacotot-Rancière ou a dissonância inaudita de uma pedagogia (felizmente) pessimista

This paper aims to dialogue with Jacques Rancieres The ignorant schoolmaster. It does not aim to review it, nor to give explanations concerning its content and its both probable and im- probable educational goals. With this as my aim, I rescue some philosophical principles (an inversion of the logic of explanation, the maleficity of comprehension , translation and counter-transla- tion, the lesson of the poet) that, like other pedagogical dissonance, characterize the pedagogical adventure of a French pedagogue at the beginning of XIX century-Joseph Jacotot.
