The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) has invited responses to their consultation document on the Proposed Standards for Local Supervising Authorities (LSAs) and LSA Responsible Midwifery Officers (LSAMOs). The second consultation document contains revisions and additions which warrant careful consideration by midwives and other stakeholders of the maternity services before responding.
