Remanufacturing for Automotive Electronics Control Parts

Remanufacturing of automobile parts is important for increasing the recycling resources. ECU(Electronic Control Unit) systems are becoming an increasingly important part of an automobile. But production company are reported in the ECU remanufacturing industry of domestic automobile parts due to a lack of remanufacturing technology and marketability. This paper introduces the ECU of remanufacturing, also grasps the structure and the analyzes failure cause that is external factors and fault in the characteristic design and steps in the Independent ECU remanufacturing process. The ECU manufacturing industry of the US was examined. The results in this paper could be used as the system information for further remanufacturing industry of domestic automobile parts.

Systematical Discrimination of Bolt for Maintenance

In this paper, we analyze the standards of the bolts for maintaining the products. The maintainer don`t know the detail information of bolts by seeing the shape of bolts when they repair the products. So they waste much time and cost. To solve the these problem, we propose the new systematical discrimination of bolts. To propose the discrimination code, we divide the shapes of the bolts into four classes(head, internal drive, shank and end). User can fine preferentially similar standards by just the shapes of bolts under the this discrimination code. And, User can find the standards of bolts that they want by using the additional information such as measurements. We will reduce the cost and time for the maintaining the products by using the proposed discrimination code.

Design for Using Purpose of Assembly-Group

In this paper, the disassemblability is determined by the detail weighting factors according to the using purpose of assembly-group. Based on the disassembly mechanism and the characteristics of parts and assembly-groups, the disassembly functions are classified into three categories; accessibility, transmission of disassembly power and disassembly structure. To determine the influencing parameters, some assembly-groups of an automobile are disassembled. The weighting values for the influencing factors are calculated by using of AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). Using these weighting values, the point tables for the using purpose are determined. Finally, an optimal design guideline for the using purpose of an assembly-group can be decided.
