Research and Development for Technology Evolution Potential Forecasting System

Technology forecasting is a powerful weapon for many enterprises to gain an animate future. Evolutionary potential radar plot is a necessary step of some valuable methods to help the technology managers with right technical strategy. A software system for Technology Evolution Potential Forecasting (TEPF) with automatic radar plot drawing is introduced in this paper. The framework of the system and the date structure describing the concrete evolution pattern are illustrated in details. And the algorithm for radar plot drawing is researched. It is proved that the TEPF system is an effective tool during the technology strategy analyzing process with a referenced case study.

The CNC development of the sawing and milling machining center for plastic door and window PVC profile based on Fanuc0

By developing secondly FANUC - OMD system, the control system accorded with requirements of the sawing and milling machining center for plastic door and window PVC (polyvinyl chloride) profile is accomplished. Based on researching the structure, the function, the process of the technologies and the control requirements of the machining center, had implemented the CNC (computer numerical control)system of the machining center, these include the machine tool origin and work piece coordinate origin established. Completed the sawing and milling machining center auxiliary functional code - M code development, realized assistant functions of the automatic control processing. Through parameter adjustment and simulation experiment, meet to the sawing and milling machining center control requirements.

Mechanical Structure and Motion Control System Design for Continuously Sintering Furnace

With the Industrialization of MIM technology, it is urgent to resolve the waste of energy problem, which is caused by the parts’ repeated heating in degreasing, sintering segment. So, it is proposed that by the use of the continuously sintering furnace to make the traditional single process (such as degreasing process, sintering process and post-processing, etc.) merge into the integrated process; designed the sintering furnace motion control system by S7-200 PLC (Programmable Logical Controller). And then, introduced the structural design and the control system design of the sintering furnace in detail. The successful development of the continuously sintering furnace will significantly reduce the various uncertain factors during the produce process, which will help improve the quality of forming parts and production rate.

The CAM system research of sawing and milling machining center for PVC profile based on feature technologies

By using the flexible sawing and milling machining center for plastic door and window PVC profile (SMMC) as an object, the paper approach for the basic frame, the main function and the key technology of the relevant CAD/CAM integrating system for the SMMC, and specify fully the feature technologies which are applied to the technical design for the SMMC. Through in-depth studying the geometric character, the technical character and the mutual relation between them which various windows shape on the structure and the machining figuration are possessed of. We gained the feature subclasses aggregate and the individual of the feature subclasses aggregate of the machining technological of windows shape. Consequently, such feature technologies in the flexible sawing and milling machining center for plastic door and window PVC profile system can greatly improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Research on locating control method of ball mill based on prediction

To solve the difficulty of precise locating of large inertia ball mill, a new method based on prediction is put forward. The feasibility of this method was analyzed using the motor theory and analysis on the ball mill kinematics and dynamics. The equipment to install rotary encoder that was connected to the ball mill was designed. And the testing hard ware based on single-chip microcomputer was build, and data of the angle and the rotational speed of the ball mill were acquired. With the tool of Mat lab, data were analyzed. The results shows that the angle predicted from the starting stage is very much closed to the angle which is measured, and the tolerance is very small, and it can meet the application completely.

On-line monitoring methodology for die forging quality based on the piezoelectric effect

Forging forming defects and machine failures are often caused by changes of forging force in the forging forming process. Tonnage signals contains significant amount of real-time forming information, by which the forging forming on-line monitoring system is developed. Tonnage signals produced by forging force are collected based on the principle of piezoelectric effect. The charge amplifier circuit is designed to achieve impedance matching and the envelope curves are exacted using envelope detector circuit. By identifying profile changes of envelope curves, forming quality is classified. Median filtering methodology is applied to establish the standard waveform and fault-tolerance zone, while a methodology is developed to establish quality identification function and ultimately to on-line monitor forging forming quality. The application object of the design is the steel ball cold head machine.

Research on precise locating control of large inertia ball mill

To solve the problem of difficulty in precise locating of batch ball mill, the kinetic model was build, and parameters relationship between starting and shutting down were analyzed, control system was designed. At the stage of starting of ball mill, load torque, rotary inertia and so on could be acquired. Based on the relationship of ball mill kinetic parameters between starting and shutting off, parameters at the stage of shutting off could be predicted. With these parameters, the angle that the ball mill would roll after power off could be predicted. With the angle, the optimum spot to cut off power of ball mill could be find, and precise locating and stopping of ball mill could be implemented. The control system is simple in structure, easy for installation and suitable for the reconstruction of existing ball mills control.

Temperature Field Analysis of Multi-segments Continuously Sintering Furnace

To enhance the temperature control accuracy and solve the lag problem of continuously sintering furnace, this paper developed temperature control system based on the analysis of the temperature field, adopted finite element analysis module, and respectively analyzed sintering furnace temperature field influenced by atmosphere, furnace door opening or closing, as well as interaction between sintering furnace zones, and got the temperature field distribution.
