A study and analysis of digital image processing and recognition algorithms

In this paper, we study and analyse the recognition methods for digital image. In the digital image preprocessing, the conservative smoothing, mean filtering, Gaussian sharpening and binarisation are used together so as to guarantee the effectiveness of the digital feature extraction. We propose an edge-tracking method, a distance feature information method and a feature information extraction method for recognising digital images. And, those three methods are evaluated and compared by experimental tests.

Development for granular computing-based multi-agent system for data fusion process

In data fusion systems, the characteristics of the information from the sensors include diversity, complexity and uncertainty. In this paper, the data fusion of the granular computing-based multi-layer structure is studied. Neural network and fuzzy system are adopted for the inference mechanism to construct an equivalent fuzzy logic system. Neural network clustering is used to cluster the concept lattices with different formal contexts. And in each concept lattice, fuzzy clustering is used to cluster the formal contexts. The design of the data fusion middleware in the multi-agent system MAS enables the two-step data fusion. This design is used to solve the issues caused by the imprecise, incomplete, fuzzy or contradictory inference. Simulation results on the fire detection in the intelligent building environment show the effectiveness and the feasibility of this design.

Research on energy consumption detection system based on OPC technology

For developing of energy consumption detection systems, the system integration becomes more and more difficult. The OPC Object Linking and Embedding OLE for process control technology is used to simplify the problem. The system integration can be improved largely and the efficiency can be decreased through the OPC standard interface. First, relevant knowledge about OPC technology is introduced in this paper, and then hardware and software realisation of the energy consumption detection system in Shenyang large-scale public buildings is discussed. By application of OPC technology, the system is simplified at system integration and information sharing and exchange on high-levels are realised.

A genetic ant colony algorithm for routing in CPS heterogeneous network

Cyber-physical system CPS is the developing trend of the network in the next generation. According to the characteristics and requirements of CPS, in this paper, we propose a CPS network architecture which mainly consists of four layers, physical layer, network layer, transport layer and application layer. Because of the heterogeneity of CPS, the guarantee of the quality of service QoS is the key challenge for the network. The genetic algorithm and the ant colony algorithm are both effective methods for the routing issues, but they both have obvious disadvantages. In this paper, we combine the two algorithms for efficient routing in CPS. Simulation results show the proposed algorithm performs better.

Application of D-S evidence theory in equipment fault diagnosis

For the situation that the changes of the state parameters are uncertain in the equipment working process, this would create difficulties for equipment fault diagnosis. In this paper, we utilize the D-S (Dempster-Shafer) evidence theory data fusion algorithm for data processing. The algorithm reflects the great advantages in terms of dealing with uncertain data. It effectively improves the reliability of fault diagnosis, and achieves the detection and diagnosis for equipment operational status.
