This paper deals with the consensus problem for heterogeneous multi-agent systems. Different from most existing consensus protocols, we consider the consensus seeking of two types of agents, namely, active agents and passive agents. The objective is to directly control the active agents such that the states of all the agents would achieve consensus. In order to obtain a computational approach, we subtly introduce an appropriate Markov chain to cast the heterogeneous systems into a unified framework. Such a framework is helpful for tackling the constraints from passive agents. Furthermore, a sufficient and necessary condition is established to guarantee the consensus in heterogeneous multi-agent systems. Finally, simulation results are provided to verify the theoretical analysis and the effectiveness of the proposed protocol.

The output regulation problem is discussed for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems under periodic disturbances generated form the so-called exosystems. The system is represented by T-S fuzzy model. With the assumption that the subsystem in each fuzzy rule is of the controllable canonical form, the regulation equations are solvable if and only if the poles of the exosystem are different from those of the fuzzy system. By exploiting the structural information encoded in the fuzzy rules, a piecewise state-feedback and a piecewise error-feedback control laws are constructed to achieve asymptotic rejecting of the unwanted disturbances and/or tracking of the desired trajectories.

Wireless sensor networks are becoming increasing important due to their outstanding ability to detect and transmit real-time and wide application in many fields. Reducing energy consumption and extending lifetime of networks are important targets in the design of wireless sensor networks. In this paper, an optimal scheme is proposed based on mixed routing. The switch factor is presented and the optimal problem is converted into a nonlinear programming problem. The target is to optimize the lifetime of bottleneck node. The optimal solution is gained by the sub-gradient iterative algorithm. The simulations show that the lifetime of the networks is extended effectively.

In this paper, we deal with Hinfin filtering problem for a class of two-dimensional (2-D) discrete time-invariant systems with state delays described by local state-space (LSS) Fornasini-Marchesini (FM) second model. Based on the bounded real lemma of 2-D state-delayed systems, Hinfin filtering design is developed, such that the filtering error system is asymptotically stable and has Hinfin performance gamma via LMIspsila feasibility. Furthermore, the minimum Hinfin norm bound gamma can be obtained by solving a linear objective optimization problem. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and advantage of our result.
