We have fabricated 2.4in-QVGA (240×320) AMOLED with 6T1C (six transistors one capacitor) Vth compensation circuit. In order to operate this pixel compensation circuit, a novel Vertical Shift Register (VSR) with the output of double-pulse-width and triple-pulse-width was investigated by using CMOS low temperature poly-Si (LTPS) TFTs. This new VSR circuit was verified by simulation and measurement. The power consumption of the new VSR is about 1.8mW. The CR (contrast ratio) of 2.4in-QVGA was improved by using the driving timing of triple-pulse-width.
