Abstract In the course of study of three Southeast Asian aphid genera Chaetomyzus Ghosh & Raychaudhuri 1962, Ericolophium Tao 1963, Neoacyrthosiphon Tao 1963, the authors came across a new subgenus, which is described here as Pseudoacyrthosiphon with type species Macrosiphum holsti Takahashi 1935 [=Ericolophium holsti (Takahashi), Tao 1963, from Rhododendron morti, Taiwan]. The generic status of Neoacyrthosiphon Tao 1963 is upheld. A key is provided for the separation of the three genera.
