The hydrogenase of Proteus vulgaris

Alvin I. Krasna; D. Rittenberg

Abstract The hydrogenase of Proteus vulgaris was shown by centrifugal behavior and electron microscopic examination to be particulate. All attempts to disrupt the particles by enzymic, chemical or physical means failed. Some chemical analyses of the particles are given.
