Source/Description: The polymorphic (GT)n repeat begins at base pair 4829 in intron E of the human non-histone chromosomal protein HMG14 gene on chromosome 21q22.3 (1). The polymorphism can be typed using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) as described previously (2). The predicted length of the amplified sequence was 82 bp.
