Merleau-Ponty e a psicologia infantil: analises da psicogenese em Wallon

Discutimos los analisis del filosofo Maurice Merleau-Ponty sobre las teorias de psicogenesis de Henri Wallon. Enfocamos los cursos que Merleau-Ponty dedicara a la psicologia del nino entre 1949 y 1952. Para el, la distincion del individuo respecto al mundo y al otro, a lo largo de la psicogenesis, jamas es terminada. La infancia jamas es liquidada radicalmente porque simplemente no abandonamos nuestra condicion corporal, nuestro poder de retomar las conductas y expresiones fisiognomicas de los otros y las cosas. Merleau-Ponty encuentra en las teorias de Wallon, principalmente en la sociabilidad sincretica y ultracosas, indicaciones en ese sentido.

A emergência da noção de comportamento simbólico em neuropsicopatologia

The emergence of the notion of symbolic behavior in neuropsychopathology. In this article, we present the notion of symbolic behavior in accordance with neuropsychopathology research from the first decades of the past century, carried out particularly in the context of aphasia research. The guiding axis was the presence of this notion in the first work by Merleau-Ponty, “The structure of behavior”. Based on research by Gelb and Goldstein, the philosopher takes ownership of the semantics of the symbolic and characterizes human corporality based on its capacity to move beyond the immediate nature of the experienced situations. We also show that the circumscription of symbolic behavior was conditioned by theoretical-methodological changes that permitted the passage from localizationist conceptions to globalist attitudes in view of pathological events of cerebral origin.

Aron Gurwitsch, intérprete de Kurt Goldstein: a intencionalidade categorial

Aron Gurwitsch foi um filosofo lituano que se esforcou em aproximar as pesquisas fenomenologicas das pesquisas cientificas da Psicologia da Gestalt. Neste trabalho, analisa-se a sua interpretacao da obra do medico alemao Kurt Goldstein. Inicialmente, abordam-se as analises de cunho epistemologico que Gurwitsch desenvolve a respeito da biologia goldsteiniana, tendo-se como eixo o conceito de “organismo”. Em seguida, trata-se da utilizacao por parte de Gurwitsch da distincao operada por Gelb e Goldstein entre a atitude concreta e a atitude categorial. Por fim, discutem-se alguns desdobramentos e algumas repercussoes da interpretacao gurwitschiana a respeito da obra de Goldstein. Essas analises guiam-se pelo fio-condutor da distincao entre um nivel de intencionalidade perceptiva e um de intencionalidade categorial.

Modos de ausência e de presença do corpo a partir do telos sensório-motor corpóreo

Phenomenology shows that our relationship with things and with others essentially involves the question of our bodily reality, and that the circumstances of the appearance of one’s own body relates, above all, to its primordial condition not as an object of perception, but as a structure of appearance. In this context, we discuss the modes of absence and presence of the body according to phenomenology, seeking to draw an outline of the topic based on Drew Leder’s methodological option: to initiate a phenomenology of the body by the structural principles of sensorimotor activity. We drew on three dimensions described by the author related to our sensorimotor skills: physical, attentional and functional.

Fenomenologia da intersubjetividade e estudos em cognição social: reflexões acerca da atenção conjunta

Resumo Neste artigo, voltamo-nos para a questao da intersubjetividade a partir de um ponto de vista ontogenetico. Discutimos as posicoes teoricas adotadas por estudos acerca da intersubjetividade no campo da cognicao social, em particular os estudos centrados no conceito de atencao conjunta e em sua interpretacao com base em constructos relativos a teoria da mente. Entendemos que, na ideia de atencao conjunta, subjaz uma intuicao profunda a respeito da constituicao de um mundo partilhado socialmente, e cuja natureza pode ser investigada para alem da predominância da atitude reflexiva, que define a partilha do mundo num quadro conceitual que articula objetivismo e solipsismo. Nossas observacoes e analises apoiam-se em aportes da filosofia fenomenologica. Destacamos a divida racionalista que se contrai por meio da teoria da mente e a possibilidade de se tratar dos aspectos ontogeneticos da intersubjetividade com base em abordagens descritivas que possibilitem a problematizacao do sentido da experiencia de coexistir. A teoria husserliana da doação perceptiva por perfis

Neste artigo, tratamos da teoria da percepcao na filosofia de Edmund Husserl. Apresentamos e discutimos a descricao do modo originario de doacao da coisa percebida, que, segundo o filosofo, se da em meio a horizontes de percepcao marcados por uma multiplicidade inesgotavel de perfis perceptivos. Nosso problema especifico consiste em evidenciar, em meio a descricao do processo perceptivo por parte de Husserl, a conjugacao de tres elementos da investigacao fenomenologica: a unidade intencional da consciencia perceptiva, o eu corporeo e a dinâmica de presenca e ausencia que caracteriza o campo perceptivo. Orientamo-nos pela hipotese de que a ligacao entre esses elementos configura uma condicao afetiva da intencionalidade que se sustenta no impercebido.

Percepção e impercepção: a experiência sensível na tradição fenomenológica

Neste artigo, circunscrevemos um dominio de investigacao teorica relativo a dinâmica de conjugacao das dimensoes de presenca e ausencia, de visibilidade e invisibilidade, que emerge na fenomenologia da percepcao como traco essencial tanto da nossa experiencia do mundo percebido quanto da nossa experiencia subjetiva e intersubjetiva. Priorizamos um eixo teorico que integra o pensamento de Edmund Husserl e Maurice Merleau-Ponty as contribuicoes recentes de Renaud Barbaras. A esse quadro filosofico, vinculamos aportes especialmente da psicologia, demarcando o movimento de circularidade observado entre a fenomenologia da percepcao e a psicologia fenomenologica, a psicologia da Gestalt, a psicanalise, as ciencias cognitivas e as neurociencias.

Our aim in this paper is to study the problem of the perception of one’s own body in Merleau-Ponty’s productions during the period he taught at the College de France. Discussions about the notion of body scheme serve as the research axis. We focus on two courses directly connected with the conceptual advances that bring Merleau-Ponty to elaborate the notion of flesh: The sensitive world and the world of expression and Nature. We particularly look into the first, as research about the diachronism in corporeity phenomena turns into theoretical support in relation to later progress. We consider that the diacritic condition of the body’s position in the world is related with the theme of the circuit established between the body, the other and things. This is also related to principle of reversibility, to the body as a sensitive sentient.
