Establishment of Colonial Variants of Brucellae in vivo

David T. Berman; M. S. Redfearn; Ellen M. Simon

Summary 1. Colonial variants of Br. suis and Br. abortus established themselves at certain times in the tissues of guinea pigs inoculated with smooth cultures. 2. Colonial variants of Br. abortus were recovered from the fluids of aborted bovine fetuses but not from milk of the aborting cows.
