Gestão participativa na educação permanente em saúde: olhar das enfermeiras

Este estudo de abordagem qualitativa teve como objetivo conhecer as estrategias de gestao, com base na Educacao Permanente em Saude (EPS). Os participantes da pesquisa foram seis enfermeiras assistenciais de uma unidade de terapia intensiva de um hospital universitario do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Utilizou-se como instrumento de coleta de dados o Metodo de Circulo de Cultura de Freire. Os dados foram coletados nos meses de junho a agosto/2007. Os resultados apontam para o planejamento participativo e tomada de decisao como estrategias da EPS que promovem a autonomia, a valorizacao, a competencia tecnica e a construcao do trabalho em equipe, em seu proprio percurso de aprendizagem.This study is of qualitative approach, and aimed at knowing the management strategies, on the basis of the Permanent Education in Health (PEH). The participants of the research had been six nurses of an intensive care unit from an university hospital in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The Method Circle of Culture of Freire was used like as instrument for collection of data. The data were collected in the period from June to august, 2007. Results point out participative planning and decision making as strategies of the PEH that promotes the autonomy, the valuation, the technical ability and the work construction in team, in its proper passage of learning.

Incubadora de aprendizagem na enfermagem: inovação no ensino do cuidado

Este estudo teve como objetivo discorrer sobre a incubadora de aprendizagem na enfermagem: inovacao no ensino do cuidado. A incubadora pode ser considerada uma estrategia destinada a criar condicoes para a incubacao, o desenvolvimento de ideias inovadoras e o despertar de novas ideias empreendedoras para o crescimento de pessoas, negocios e instituicoes. Ao utilizar o pensamento critico, reflexivo associado ao fazer em enfermagem, em ambiente propicio, a incubadora aponta para a inovacao metodologica no ensino do cuidado.This study had as objective to reflect about incubate of learning in the nursing as an innovation in the teaching of the care. The incubate can be considered a strategy to create conditions for the incubation, the development of innovative ideas and the wakening of new enterprising ideas for the growth up of people, businesses and institutions. When using the critical, reflective thought associated when making in nursing, propitious environment, the incubate points with respect to methodological innovation at learning of the care.

Productivity versus workloads in the nursing working environment

Objective To analyze the association between the productivity loss of nursing workers and workloads in a teaching hospital. Method Descriptive study with a quantitative approach, conducted with nursing workers. A structured data collection instrument and the Work Limitations Questionnaire were used. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and analytical statistics, with the Kruskal Wallis test and the Spearman rank correlation. Results A total of 211 nursing workers participated in the study. They had an average of 6.38% of lost productivity; 75% of nursing technicians showed 9.57% of productivity loss, followed by nurses (8.75%) and nursing aides (8.50%). The units presenting the highest productivity loss were surgical clinic (8.81%), and medical clinic (8.58%). The rate of productivity loss was significantly associated with chemical loads (p=0.044) and with mechanical loads (p=0.041). Conclusion Workers presented productivity loss and work limitations associated with workloads, which shows they have difficulty performing the activities in part of the work time.

Educação permanente em saúde na atenção básica: percepção dos profissionais de enfermagem

Aim: To investigate the perception of nursing professionals of primary care in relation to the Continuing Education activities in Health. Method: A descriptive study, with exploratory qualitative approach. Data were collected at basic health units in Rio Grande do Sul / Brazil, through semi-structured interviews, and analyzed and interpreted according to Bardin. Results: The activities of Continuing Health Education is considered an important tool in the daily work, being capable of providing recognition and professional development. Conclusion: the constant qualification may be a manner of building a critical and reflective professional and also make a difference in the professional career by developing skills, abilities and attitudes that enable targeted actions to the populations health needs, and that results in the achievement of autonomy
