This paper presents research with the basic goal of establishing the structure of informal computer use among adolescents in the Republic of Serbia, and of verifying the existence of a statistically significant correlation between this and their expectations regarding the implementation of ICT in the teaching process. This research was conducted by examining the opinions of 14-18 year-old adolescents regarding their computer use, Internet and social networks, and their expectations related to ICT in teaching. The results were obtained from 318 questionnaires consisting of 32 questions distributed among a representative, focused sample of adolescents: seventh and eighth grade primary, grammar and high school pupils in the Republic of Serbia. The research was carried out during the 2013/2014 school year. Data processing included a descriptive and correlative analysis which showed that Serbian adolescents are very active when it comes to informal computer use, and that there is a statistically significant correlation between the dimensions of computer use among adolescents and their expectations regarding ICT in teaching. The obtained results provide a foundation for the prediction of educational strategies regarding mandatory ICT integration in teaching courses, and the implementation of ICT in realizing teaching content. Basic goal was establishing the structure of informal computer use among adolescents. We examined adolescents expectations regarding ICT use in the teaching.Participants were recruited from primary, vocational and grammar schools in Serbia.Data processing included a descriptive and correlative analysis.ICT usage has an influence on expectations regarding ICT use in teaching.

Modern education demands the usage of modern methods of education. Students’ lifestyle and learning largely depends on information obtained by using the internet and social networks. Managing this information represents a very complex process. In this paper, the roles of managers in learning management system will be presented. Also, the research results of applying WBMS developed at Technical Faculty “Mihajlo Pupin” and its effects will be presented as well. The paper’s contribution is in comparative analysis of the research results obtained in 2005 and in 2011.

Using media directly influences teaching communication and its effects in relation to knowledge acquisition. Words are still the main source of communication in the teaching process but not in the form of monolog and teachers individual speech but in the form of dialog. Pictures are being used more and more in order to transmit knowledge and information to students. This kind of teaching is more efficient because it is more understandable, especially when abstract content has to be concretized. In the field of education certain aims and tasks are being given and they are best realized through student-teacher and pupil-medium communication. By using computers in the teaching process students are given more qualitative presentation of the teaching material. Pictures are valuable source of information, they offer details, thoughts, ideas and they make possible experiments that would be difficult to describe otherwise. This kind of education is becoming more obvious and convinsing in comparison to the traditional one. This paper deals with this new teaching approach, as well as with the ways it should be realized. Basic characteristics and the ways of handling program packages will be considered as well.

This paper deals with the possibilities and effects of the interactive whiteboards and use of educational software as a contribution to teaching process. The interactive whiteboard with its own characteristics allows viewing of photo and video formats, use of educational software, document editing by using different software applications and so on. In this paper, emphasis is given to the use of educational software through interactive whiteboard and the analysis of their impact on teaching process improvement. Besides, from the fact that students learn new content in a more entertaining and approachable way, teachers at the same time improve the level of their professional development. The research in this paper includes both empirical and theoretical character, conducted by surveying a representative sample. It should provide answers about the impact and effects of interactive whiteboards and educational software on increase of the quality of teaching and the success and motivation of students in relation to the teaching realized in a traditional way.
