In the manufacturing grid’s architecture, Resources Management System (RMS) is the central component responsible for disseminating resource information across the grid, accepting requests for resources, discovering and scheduling the suitable resources that match the requests for the global grid resource, and executing the requests on scheduled resources. In order to resolve the problem of resources publication and discovery in Manufacturing Grid (MGrid), the classification of manufacturing resources is first researched after which the resources encapsulation class modes are put forward. Then, a scalable two-level resource management architecture is constructed on the model, which includes root nodes, domain nodes and leaf nodes. And then an RMS is proposed, and the resources publication and discovery mechanism are detailedly described. At last, an application prototype is developed to show the validity and the practicability of the proved theory and method.

Manufacturing grid (MGrid) is a new resource sharing platform. To reduce the decision-making time of selecting appropriate resources for special clients and to improve the quality of service (QoS) in MGrid, the evaluation indices library is established, which includes the general evaluation indices, the special evaluation indices and the individual evaluation indices. The notion of agent-based resource optimal selection evaluation is proposed in the MGrid and the architecture model and the particular algorithm are presented. The experimental results show that the model and the algorithm are feasible and effective for solving the problem of resource optimal selection in the MGrid system.

Aimed at the problem of dynamic visualization monitoring in discrete manufacturing process, the visualization monitoring architecture based on Internet of Things is designed. Then the information fusion architecture is given, and some key technologies are discussed and carried out by using theory and technology of data fusion. RFID technology, wireless camera, eddy current sensor, kanban and andon are adopted and their functions are described with work flow in this system. Next the structure of system functions are analyzed in order to lay the foundation for system development. Ultimately, a prototype system is developed to simulate the discrete manufacturing process. The framework of the system and these relevant technologies provide a new proposal plan or suitable pattern for dynamic visualization monitoring, it can provide an important reference in discrete manufacturing system.

In this paper, according to the mechanical spare part product processing of manufacture precision request and the processors technical level a common mechanical parts production process rejection rate and rework rate calculation model and simulation analysis model is built, and the rejection rate and rework rate calculation examples are given at last.

This article discussed the production systems constitutive model of the automotive parts enterprises workshop, which has a typically discrete production characteristic. Firstly, it produces a general constitutive theoretical model of the workshop production scheduling system according to the manufacturing workshop production systems constitutive model. Then it establishes the constitutive model of automotive parts enterprises workshop production system and its coordination model of the manufacture resources. Finally we use the Petri nets to construct workshops scheduling system model.

Associated with the disassembly problem of the automatic transmission of automobile, the necessity of disassembly modeling and forming the disassembly is analyzed. According to the principle of product assembly design, the assembly tree of the automatic transmission of automobile is built, and assembly information model of the automatic transmission of automobile is also built. According to the former disassembly model of the automatic transmission of automobile, the sequence of automatic transmission of automobile is generated by using the VC++ at last.
