Seong-Kyun Shin; Byung-Jin Lee; Dong-Won Jang; Kyung-Seok Kim

Recent studies have been conducted on powerline communications as a viable alternative to the spread of the spread of the Internet and the Internet as the chief source of information act in the information age, the internet does not reach local Last Mile Solution. Powerline communication, but because it has been designed to transfer power to the high frequency signal to be sent when the close of wireless communications services impacted. The notch filters of a common way to eliminate the interference are used. In this paper, a dynamic high-performance notch filter applying WDF performance was verified through MATLAB and was implemented using a TI`s TMS320C6416T DSP board.

Today is the Information age which Internet service acts a most important Information Source. So A Power Line Communication has been achieved to offer Internet service for Last-Mile area. And Research is achieved to frequence range from 30MHz to 80MHz for High-speed communication service. But, Power Line is not suitable for communication, so, electric wave is generated from flow of communication information. And the electric wave is interfered with Wireless Communication Service using the same frequence range. In this paper, we calculated a 3 steps and 8 steps dynamic Notch Filter to consider the bandwidth of interference signals based on ETSI standard for reduce of interference between Power Line Communication and Wireless Communication Service. And we applied a Notch Filter and verified the application performance from Spectrum and BER.

A Design of Wavelet OFDM based on CIC Filter

Ki-Tak Moon; Dong-Won Jang; Kyung-Seok Kim

Currently, The new communication system was very important because of the increasing demand for Internet access. One of these alternatives is the PLC. But, Power Line is not suitable for communication. So, electromagnetic wave is generated from Power Line during flow of communication information. And the electromagnetic wave is interfered with Wireless Communication Service using the same frequency range. To eliminate this interference by used Notch tilter. Wavelet OFDM in another way, while one is used. In this paper, Wavelet OFDM CIC filter used in the CMFB structure by applying a further lowering the value of the side-lobe is proposed to improve performance.

Today, Internet service is a most important Information Source. So, the Power Line Communication has been achieved to offer Internet service to Last-Mile area. But, Power Line is not suitable for communication, So, electromagnetic wave is generated from Power Line during flow of communication information. And the electromagnetic wave is interfered with Wireless Communication Service using the same frequency range. In this paper, the Notch Filter and the Spectrum Sensing technology are proposed to reduction of interference between Power Line Communication and Wireless Communication Service. The Spectrum Sensing technology is the core technology of the Cognitive Radio (CR) system. CR is the technology that temporarily allocates the frequency bandwidth by scanning surrounding wireless environments to keep licensed terminals and search the unused frequency bandwidth. The proposed emulator is implemented with Spectrum Sensing and Notch Filter system using Embedded Board.

Calculation of FDD-based Occupied Frequency Bandwidth for 4G Mobile

Young-Ju Hyun; Young-Hwan Lee; Dong-Won Jang; Kyung-Seok Kim

Today, third-generation(3G) of mobile communication service executing the video and TV. And low cost, high speed data rate will emerge communication of the fourth generation(4G) in future. So, in this paper we studied occupied frequency bandwidth of common technique criteria among the technique criteria for the 4G mobile communication of FDD-based on Up/Down-link. The mobile communication traffic is predicted Up/Down-link of non-symmetric in future. So we proposed the PHY layer parameters of occupied frequency bandwidth of Up/Down-link with both 1:3 and 1:6. We also verified this through the simulation. We proposed the occupied frequency bandwidth for the 4G mobile communication in this paper.
