Abstract The value of (δR/R)Sb = −(9.8 ± 0.4) × 10−4 has been obtained by combining atomic Hartree-Fock calculations with semi-empirical approximation of the method of molecular orbitals. The scale calibration of chemical shifts of antimony compounds has been carried out on the basis of the value δR/R.
