Abstract 1. 1. Serum biochemical and hematologic measurements were determined on heat- and cold-tolerant cattle subjected to constant environmental temperature-relative humidity (RH) treatments of 10°C–50%RH and 31°C–50%RH. 2. 2. Significant breed × temperature interactions were found for creatinine, inorganic phosphorus, glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase, leucocyte count and per cent lymphocytes and neutrophils. 3. 3. Significant temperature effects but no breed × temperature interactions were found for chloride, potassium, glucose, cholesterol, urea nitrogen, total bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase, erythrocyte count, packed cell volume, hemoglobin concentration, anisocytosis and poikilocytosis. 4. 4. Breed differences were similar to those found previously.
