To the Editor.— We recently had the opportunity to visit the Soviet Union as part of a dermatology study tour. This trip included visits to the Central Dermato-Venerological Institute in Moscow, as well as to general and specialized hospitals in the Soviet Central Asian states of Uzbekistan and Tadzhikistan.
