Edward G. Feldmann

The Need for Standardization and Uniformity

Abstract Edward G. Feldmann is associate executive director for scientific affairs of APhA. He holds a BS in chemistry from Loyola University, an MS in pharmacy and a PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of Wisconsin. Feldmann joined APhA in 1959. For 15 years he was editor of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences. From 1960 to 1969 he served as director of the National Formulary and as chairman of the NF Board. He currently serves as a member of the National Research Council, a delegate to the United States Pharmacopeial Convention and as a member of the Expert Advisory Panel on the International Pharmacopeia, World Health Organization. He has authored over 60 published articles.
