No wonder you activities are, reading will be always needed. It is not only to fulfil the duties that you need to finish in deadline time. Reading will encourage your mind and thoughts. Of course, reading will greatly develop your experiences about everything. Reading an atlas of juvenile mmpi profiles is also a way as one of the collective books that gives many advantages. The advantages are not only for you, but for the other peoples with those meaningful benefits.

The author has few &dquo;positive&dquo; recommendations. He seems to favor integrated equality with respect to political rights and public services, but segregated equality in education and housing. He views the Supreme Court desegregation rulings as unfortunate examples of judicial legislation that must now be supported primarily because of the fundamental significance of the judicial process. His &dquo;solution&dquo; is both

In general the author has done a satisfactory job of surveying the field of magic, though some might question the inclusion of such items as witches, divination, and the evil eye and wonder whether magic is really as &dquo;unorganized&dquo; and as &dquo;uncontrolled by experience&dquo; as the writer appears to think. He has used primary.sources exclusively and has incorporated useful notes. The subject index is reasonable but the lack of an alphabetic bibliography or author index is a handicap. over, there is little growth of &dquo;revolutionary&dquo; attitudes among the victims of prolonged unemployment. The picture of physical, emotional, and skill deterioration which accompanies unemployment and relief status offers expected confirmation of the seriousness of the problem. This book is well organized, with the interpretive material presented concisely and fairly in Part I, substantiated by typical complete case histories and adequate explanations of methodology. It is easy to question the representative character of a group of unemployed families in New York City, but the completeness and comparability of the case material thus available seem adequate justification for this choice. It is to be hoped that a later, more detailed checkup of the employment and income status of these families

a good kick on that Glenn Smith case. He was the fellow who was shot and killed by the oil-station attendant during the attempted stick-up. Examine, if you will, the records in the case and then draw your own conclusions: The police department records show Smith had been sentenced to St. Cloud Reformatory for receiving stolen property. He was released a year later. Late in ’31 he was arrested on suspicion of highway robbery. In 1934 he was given two-year probation for receiving stolen property, but he violated probation and was returned to St. Cloud. He was paroled in March 1939. A case like that makes any good citizen’s blood boil. We might easily have had the killing go the other way. And parole and probation officers would have had the responsibility smack in their laps. I would like to hear from either group just to see what defense they have to offer for giving a violator like that back to society.,

an increasing number of attempts to evaluate the role of youth in current American life. The author of the present volume, by virtue of his experiences in the research work of the Federal Government, published by the Works Progress Administration, has had an excellent opportunity to get nationwide perspective on a problem which is Gargantuan in its proportions and so Protean in its character that it almost

does one appraise and evaluate policies? It is with this question that the bulk of the volume deals, either in outlining principles or in applying them to specified educational problems. The approach of the author to his task is essentially philosophical. He appears to believe that statistics and quantitative analysis narrow the perspective of the educator who wishes a fundamental appraisal of the conflicting educational policies one finds in higher education at the present time-policies which in their most generalized form involve what to teach, how
