The recent interest of academia in analyzing processes that result in organizational learning or in describing features of learning organizations has contributed to build a central subject within the international scientific community and the literature addressed to managers and consultants. The present study has attempted to map out the academic production on organizational learning in Brazil. We have analized 43 articles published on main periodicals in the field of Management and annals of two important scientific congresses. Besides mapping this production, the results of this study reveal that some themes, concepts, theoretical frames, references and typologies of research are paramount and prevailing in this field of research. These results may be useful in order to set up a research agenda which tries to solve the main problems related to organizational learning and the scientific gaps in this research area.

Em primeiro lugar, cabe assinalar que os comentaristas destacam, com precisao, os pontos cruciais que emergem como resultado do trabalho inicial. No entanto, mais do que apontar as contribuicoes advindas de um estudo que tem, reconhecemos, um recorte que impoe limites naturais de abrangencia do campo – na sua dimensao temporal e de extensao do material analisado – a replica recupera duas discussoes fundamentais e, para elas, traz contribuicoes significativas. Cumpre, portanto, o papel de fazer avancar o debate e de abrir novas veredas para a investigacao.

This paper is intended to analyse the determinant factors of organizational learning based upon a cognitive-constructivist focus. The case-study was conducted in the state of Bahia, Brazil, in a public committee for software selection. Their members was enterviewed and talked about what determined learning. The factors which came out from the research were related with context, group and person. The results, although preliminary, confirm many of the postulations of cognitive-constructivist approach.

The analysis of conversations between Italian and Brazilian groups allows to understand meanings that inspire and motivate political demonstrations and different performances in favor of a desired city. The research takes a descriptive perspective, based on categories of analysis informed by theories, but made by the exploration of terms used in conversations caught by members of four Facebook groups. The expectation is to highlight concepts, revealed by the set of statements made by people interested in trends that city growth takes or just in the given uses of urban spaces. To provide clues for the interpretation of the talks, we use centrality indices of Social Network Analysis (SNA) in a semantic network of concepts. Thus, it is possible to establish similarities and differences between current forms of civic participation and politics on urban commons largely supported by online social networks.

Existem inumeros trabalhos dedicados ao estudo da dinâmica dos complexos agroindustriais, enfocando sua dimensao tecnico-economica, simbolicamente representada pela matriz insumo-produto. Poucos, porem, dedicam-se a analise de sua dimensao politico-institucional, privilegiando o estudo dos conflitos de interesse e da cons- trucao de arranjos de negociacao entre os agentes da cadeia produtiva. Este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar uma proposta de referencial teorico, bem como um modelo de analise, fundado na percepcao dos complexos agroindustriais enquanto resultado historico de um movimento de orquestracao de interesses heterogeneos travado entre os seus diversos segmentos, ou atores estrategicos. Para a construcao deste modelo, foram articulados conceitos que tem origem nos seguintes campos de conhecimento: economia, particularmente economia rural;administracao estrategica e sociologia das organizacoes.

This paper focus on public services delivery process over the Internet, checking how efficient are government that use the Internet to provide information and services to citizens. To achieve this purpose, a web site evaluation of several local, state and federal governments was done. It might be concluded that the use of the Internet as a public services delivery system is in real evolution in Brazil and other countries that were evaluated by this research. It also warns to the amount of work still needed to be done by Brazilian governments in order to provide quality public services over the Internet.

O objetivo deste trabalho e analisar o processo de reestruturacao vivenciado, na decada de noventa, por duas grandes empresas da industria de alimentos no mundo, ressaltando as estrategias adotadas. A analise dos casos da Nestle e Parmalat parece demonstrar que as estrategias de nego¬cio e tecnologicas tem funcionado como combustivel de tal processo de reestruturacao. Essa analise permitiu ainda verificar que, muito embora verifique-se uma coerencia estrategica nos grupos analisados, os processos de reestruturacao nas filiais brasileiras sao mais lentos. Isso significa dizer que essas filiais apresentam condutas inovacionais mais recuadas que as das matrizes e filiais localizadas em mercados de pressao competitiva mais elevada que o brasileiro.
