Progress in the Development of Well‐Defined Ethylene‐Vinyl Halide Polymers

Here progress in the development of well‐defined halogen containing polyolefins is described. A comparison of industrially relevant examples is given with attention to the influence of the halogen type and content on the thermal and crystalline properties and the resultant structure‐function relationships in the context of application. A more detailed account of the fundamental basis of such structure‐function relationships is given through a discussion of the various ethylene vinyl halide copolymers that have been reported.
