Data on immature stages and range extension of Prepona pheridamas (Cramer, 1777) are presented. The larva feed on Hirtella gracilipes (Hook. f.) (Chrysobalanaceae), the same natural hostplant for Agrias claudina godmani Fruhstorfer,1895 in the high Rio Arinos region, Mato Grosso State.

The external morphology of adult head of Almeidaia aidae Mielke & Casagrande, 1981 is described and illustrated for the first time. The results obtained were compared with other species of Saturniidae. This species is rare and endemic of the Cerrado region. Biological studies were published recenthly by the fourth author.

Data on immature stages, the behavior and the range of Paradaemonia thelia (Jordan, 1922) are presented. The solitary larva feed on Chrysophyllum marginatum (Hook. & Arn.) Radlk. (Sapotaceae), its natural hostplant. Isolated ovae are deposited on dorsal surface of mature leaves. Larval development required 18 days; the pupal stage lasted 32-37 days. Adults, ovae, larvae and pupa are illustrated in color.

For the first time data on behavior, hostplants and immature stages for a member of this rare Saturniidae are presented. A female of Almeidaia aidae Mielke & Casagrande, 1981, the fifth known specimen of this species, was collected in Diamantino, upper Arinos river, Mato Grosso, Brazil, and from its ovae, larvae were reared on Pseudobombax longiflorum (Mart. & Zucc.) A. Rob. and Eriotheca gracilipes (K. Schum.) A. Rob. (Bombacaceae), two tree species common in the cerrado region of central Brazil. Larval development in 10 days is extraordinarily fast, however the pupal period can last a year or more. The types from Almeidaia romualdoi Travassos, 1937 and A. aidae are illustrated in color for the first time; of this last species, eggs, larval instars and adults are illustrated in color and the first and second larval instars and pupa, by line drawings.

The immature stages and the larval hosts of some subspecies of Copiopteryx semiramis (Cramer, 1775) are reported. Egg, larval instars, pupa and adults to the subspecies C. semiramis montei Gagarin, 1933 are illustrated in color for the first time.

The biology and immature stages of Psigida walkeri (Grote) are described for the first time. Development is rapid with only 35 days from egg to adult. The larva feed on Calliandra parviflora Benth. (Leguminosae-Mimosoideae), its natural host plant. Egg, larval instars, pupa and adults are illustrated in color.

Imaturos e adultos sao ilustrados a cores.

Descriptions of the morphology and behavior of the immature stages of Adeloneivaia schubarti Rego Barros & Mielke, 1970 are given for the first time. The larvae was reared (in captivity) on Stryphnodendron adstringens (Mart.) Coville (Leguminosae-Mimosoideae). Egg, larval instars, pupa and adults are illustrated in color and line drawings.

Data on immature stages, the behavior and the range of Titaea orsinome Huebner, [1823] are presented. The larva feeds on Eriotheca gracilipes (K. Schum.) O. Robyn (Bombacaceae). Generation (oviposition to imago) lasted 77 days. Egg, larval instars, head capsules, pupa and adults are illustrated in color.
